Bread Pakora- Bread Pakodha-بریڈ پکوڑا

How to cook bread pakodha?
Bread Pakora

For Besan mixture
1. Gram flour – one cup
2. Rice flour/ corn flour– 3 tablespoon
3. Salt – 1 teaspoon
4. Red chilli powder – one teaspoon (heaped) for medium spicy
– one and a half teaspoon( heaped ) for more spicy
For potato mixture
5. Potatoes—half kilo
6. Salt – one teaspoon
7. Red chilli flakes—1 teaspoon
8. Crushed cumin seeds—1 teaspoon
9. Crushed dried coriander – 1 teaspoon
10. Dried mango powder – half teaspoon
11. Chaat masala – 1 teaspoon
12. Small onion – 1
13. Green chilli – 1 ( medium spicy
2,3 ( more spicy)
14. Fresh green coriander – 1/3 cup

15. Bread slices – 6

16. Oil – for deep frying in a deep wok/karahi

Gram flour mixture
1. In a bowl, mix gram flour, rice flour, salt and red chilli powder.
2. Make a mixture by adding water.
3. Cover and keep aside for half an hour stay
Potato mixture
4. In a bowl, add potatoes, salt, red chilli flakes, crushed cumin, crushed dried coriander, dried mango powder and chaat masala powder and them all.
5. Mix onion, green chilli and fresh green coriander.
Assembling
6. Cut bread slices with the help of cookie cutters or make simple triangles.
7. Fill potato mixture between two bread slices.
Frying
8. In karahi/ wok, heat oil sufficient for deep frying.
9. Do not put bread pakoras at once. Give them space to be fried separately.
10. Present with Mint yogurt dip or tomato ketchup.
