[Music][Applause]hi guys this is Kenny and welcome backto teen stick or corner if you’re newhere welcome thank you so so much forstopping by I hope that you will goahead and click the subscribe button andalso be sure to get the notificationbell to receive alerts as to when Iupload new videos well my favoritefamily members who you all know I loveyou love you love you so so much and Iappreciate all of your support now guysthis is the final week of the quarantinecooking collaboration and I am so superexcited because I have a treat for youall so in all the other videos I showedmeals or meal ideas or lunch ideas andthis time I decided to share a dessertnow I’m not much of a baker but there isat least one item I know how to bakefrom scratch I can do a mean box cakeand I can do mean brownies from a boxbut there’s only one type of it’s reallya bread that I know how to bake fromscratch and that is banana bread so Ihad a lot of overripe bananas and Ineeded to do something with them andinstead of throwing them away I wantedto share with you guys a quick and easyway to use your override bananas bymaking some delicious moist banana breadso if you guys are interested in seeinghow I make my banana breadthen just keep watching okay guys so asyou can see I have some really overripebananas and these are going to make thebest banana bread when the bananas arebrown like this they are really reallyreally sweet and they’re soft so they’reeasy to mash so that makes them perfectfor a banana bread so I have for likemedium sized bananas here so I will sayyou can use your how many bananas youuse would vary on the size of yourbananas so you want about 2 cups of theonce they’re all mashed together so youwould just have to kind of gauge that onyour own but I’m using four here andthat equals two cups for me now that wehave all the bananas peeled we’ll goahead and smash them up and I’m usingthe fork because they’re super easybecause it’s so soft but you can use apotato masher if you want it to but youcan see how easily they’re mashing so afork will totally get the job done sonow that the bananas are all meshed wellwe will set these to the side so that wecan move on with our dry ingredients sonow I’m using 2 cups of flourI already have 1 cup of all-purposeflour in our bowl so I’m adding one morecup then next I’m going to add 2teaspoons of baking powder so that isone and then I also add another one andthen we have 1/4 teaspoon of salt nowwe’ll just stir everything together andI’m using a spoon but you can use awhisk if you like to but I’m going tosift this through later so I’m totallyokay with just using a spoon to mix itall togethernow in another bowl I’m going to mix inmy sugar so I’m using 1 cup of whitesugar and then I have 1 cup of brownsugar and to the sugar I’m going to add1 cup of melted butterso we’ll just pour that in and thenafter we’ve added our melted butterwe’re also going to add 4 eggs now I’lljust mix all these wet ingredientstogether until they blend it well nowthat the mixture is all incorporatedtogether I’m going to go ahead and addin our mashed bananas so once we add allof those to the sugar mixture then wewill mix this in we’ll also so thebananas will be well incorporated[Music]so here I’m using a spoon to mix in thebananas but I also decided to switch toa whisk to incorporate them well as youcan see there and now I’m using mysifter to sift in the dry ingredientsthe flour the baking powder and thebaking soda and the salt so I’m justgoing to sift all that into our mixtureand then we will fold it all in togetheralso this will be a good time to goahead and pre-heat your oven to 350degrees so as you guys can see I am justfolding the mixture in together I’m notstirring it or whisking it togetherbecause I want my cake to be very tenderso when you over mix it then it can makeit a little bit tough so I’m just goingto take my time and fold this intogether until it’s fully incorporatedas you can see the mixture is comingtogether and now that I have it allmixed together I am using my greasedloaf pan I’ve used butter to grease theinside of the pan and I’m just pouringthe mixture into the pan[Music]now that you’ve gotten all that goodnessinto your loaf pan it’s time to add yourtoppings so I’m going to add thesechocolate chips to the top of our bananabread of course you can add them withinthe mixture but I like to just put themright on top and also you can add inyour nuts if you want to add nuts toyour bread but my son and my husbandhave nut allergies and so we’re notdoing nuts and our bread we’re justgoing to top it with some chocolatechips and I’m using about maybe a half acup of chocolate chips but you can useas many or as little as you likenow we will allow the bread to bake at350 degrees for one hour and here is thefinal result this bread is straight outof the oven and it smells and looksamazing as I have to say Addison waslike mommy can I have some now can Ihave some now he was so excited andcould not wait to dig into thisbeautiful delicious moist banana breadbut of course I’m going to allow it tocool off for about 15 minutes or so andthen I will remove it from the loaf panand now here it is remove from the loafpan onto a dish and we are ready to cutinto itI should have been using my bread knifeto cut into this banana bread but thisone will get the job done and as youguys can see this bread looks amazing[Music]and here’s a quick close up look at thebanana bread the loaf that I have thereon our trade and this life that I cutfor myself as I have to say I am soready to enjoy this delicious breadokay guys so I hope that you all haveenjoyed this video and if so please besure to give me a thumbs up that helpsme out tremendously you guys don’t knowhow much it helps also again if you’renew here I want you to go ahead andclick that subscribe button and also getthe notification bell so that you won’tmiss any videos that upload now guysleave me comments down below to let meknow if you made banana bread and if soif your recipe is similar to what mineis or if you have something a little bitdifferent normally I would like to addnext to mine but Antoine and Addisonboth have allergies to nuts and sothat’s why I can’t use nuts in it I didthink about putting nuts on half thebread and then the other half is forthem but I just didn’t even want to dothat you know I just didn’t want them toaccidentally get some or whatever so Ijust leave the nuts off and then I couldask them on the side if I like too nowguys I have to say this bread is so soyummy that I’m about to go ahead andenjoy a slice for myself so sometimes Ido like to have cut up strawberries onthe side but I don’t have any right nowso that’s okay I will enjoy it I like towarm it up or have it straight out ofthe oven it is extra delicious at thatpoint alrighty guys so again I hope thatyou have enjoyed this video and I lookforward to seeing all of you on the nextonemuch love and many blessings[Music][Applause][Music]

  1. I guess that we were thinking alike, I made some today and I put coconut flakes in it to give it a new twist, and it turned out great. With my banana bread I also put vanilla and nutmeg
