[Music]hi I’m Rebecca brand and this is my veryfavorite banana bread recipe and it’sonly 50 sinful loaf and you use your oldbananas to make it I researched recipesfor years and years and this is the oneI’ve used for about 30 you can make itin your bread maker which I’m gonna dotoday or you can use your oven it’sreally easy and any pan you have youdon’t need a bread pan to make it youcan make it in a cake pan whatever yougot or muffins really lots of choicesand the recipe is at the end of thisvideo so you can screenshot it or jot itdown the ingredients for this recipe arebananas I’m using my student via expiredcoronavirus bananas oil any kind ofvegetable oil is fine I’m using corn oilthis is the one I always keep in myhouse or you can use butter in the samequantity 1/2 cup of white sugar becausethat’s just least expensive and what theflavor of the bananas you can’t tell ifit’s brown sugar white sugar it’s allabout the banana flavor you’re going fortwo trusty eggs 1 teaspoon baking sodathe difference between baking soda andbaking powder is that baking powderalready contains an acid in the chemicalmixture whereas baking soda needs anacidic in the ingredient to create arising action that’s why we have thebananas that has it believe it or notthey’re little acidic but just in caseyou don’t have the baking soda you cansubstitute baking powder yes use threetimes the amount but I have to say I’vedone this before and I get a little bitof a metallic taste in that I don’t likethat so I go for the baking sodabesides it’s cheap half a teaspoon saltand you need your salt you got to have alittle balance within the whole recipeotherwise your breads gonna taste alittle flat I use 1/4 teaspoon cinnamonfor this my original recipe has 1/8 butI ramped it up a little bit cuz I likecinnamon and if you have no cinnamon I’mnot gonna write you up a ticket what Ilove about breadmaker recipes if notonly is the timing is just perfect youdon’t have to go turn off your oven whenit’s ready it also comes with its ownmixing pan less for me to clean yeah solet’s add our ingredients let’s talkabout those bananas you need 3/4 cupsbananas which is 2 bananas don’t bethinking you want to throw in your thirdbanana in there just because you have itand I’ll tell you why if you do thatyour breasts gonna have a big dent inthe middle of it when you take it outnow you don’t want that you just wantthe fluffy a nicethat you don’t want it to dense or tostick in your mouth ID skin thesebananasI’m Michigan Mastiff up really fine youknow because I wanted to know exactlywhat 3/4 cup was alright it got a littlemore like maybe five-eighths a cup butgood enough for government work so nowwe’re adding 1/2 cup oil and really makeit 1/2 cup don’t give too much or toolittleit could affect the texture down thehatch and a half cup sugar sugar and twoeggs and depending on your confidencelevel you can put them in like thatI was so really confidentI got a shell in show you my methodsdidn’t always work that’s trash thingbut one way things about cooking is Ilike they have fun and I have fun when Icook and I hope you do to clean up withour line which would be my hands and wejust can’t wash our hands too often Ohwith the coronavirus and one teaspoonbaking soda and flick it cuz she wantedit all in there here what 1/2 teaspoonsalt and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon and thereason I put them in that order it’sbecause I know what the flour going infirst it might stick to the pan this waythe wet ingredients and all the spicesand the baking soda and everything mixesup with the eggs and that oil and so youdon’t get a lump of something and like alittle bit of flour that’s like you knownot equally homogenized what’s in yourbatch now we add 1/4 cups flour tadaand let me show you how I use my breadmaker they’re probably pretty similarwhenever I’m in a thrift store I scan itand I buy them because they’re only like1015 dollars there or I’m gonna have alink below and you can buy it online I’mgonna search and get a really good dealon one and one that I like but you cando whatever you want but I reallyrecommend this especially for thecoronavirus this is so easy so fastplease check out my French countrysidebread recipe which is 40 cents a loafand you can make that every single dayand after about I don’t know five timesmaking it and you put the little reciperight here and little post-it it is sosuper easy and it’s always successfuland you’ll have fresh bread every day itmakes the house smell great and so willthis so it’s always nice when somethingwonderful from the kitchen is happeningin your houseso submarine is going down ten thousandleagues taking the dive batten down thehatches in all bread makers they’re sogreat they usually have what you’resupposed to press to get what you wantso lines always set at the number onewhich is basic that’s my Frenchcountryside bread it’s the bomb and it’ssuper easy with five ingredients and Ithink you should memorize in we’resticking posted on here because I makethat about every day but anyways back tomy banana bread so it has all thesedifferent settings a banana bread is aquick bread and that is number four sowe go over to the menu this is prettystandard for most bread makers I’m gonnaput a link below on the bread makers Isuggest that are very inexpensive or getyours in the thrift store but anywayspress the menu one two three fourthat’s quick bread and we’re gonna pressStart and if you’re making the batter ina bowl this is the consistency of whatthe batter should look like after it’sstirred up just in case you don’t knowand I didn’t know when I first startedcooking so there you go that’s what thebatter of a banana bread looks like it’sthat thick yay down into the depths shegoes and a quick bread with all themixing and the baking is gonna take anhour and 39 minutes and a bread makernow if you just want to use your ovensame recipe this is one batch it wouldbe great to double this batch maybe youhave a neighbor you want to give a loafof bread to that’s terrific I wouldadvise you doing that cuz it’s so easyyou got all the ingredients out anywaysthe ovens gotta be preheated to 350degrees and if you use a standard loafpan that’s about 55 minutes in the ovenbut I always check in 45 minutes becauseyou don’t want to overcook banana breadit will be moist and the whole point iscooking it perfectly so it’s deliciouslymoist in the center without being mushyand that’s another thing if you have toomany bananas it’s just gonna be mushy sojust don’t do thatmaybe use a cake pan instead becausethat’s what you got then is 25 minutescomment and give me your recipe ideasfor getting through her little cellquarantines we got Bell in here for thecoronavirus I reallytake that I’m making one in two videos aday
