•½ Würfel frische Hefe || ½ cube fresh yeast (about 20 grams)

Sausage Bread RollsAll ingredients and quantitative data are listed & linked in the infobox below.Welcome to a new video……today I’m going to show you a recipe for bread-wrapped sausages……first crumble ½ cube of yeast into a tall container……add 1 teaspoon of sugar and 225 milliliters of lukewarm water……& stir together everything with a whisk or fork……until sugar & yeast have completely dissolved……then combine the yeast-water mixture along with 400 grams of flour……& a teaspoon of salt in a mixing bowl……& knead together all ingredients with a food processor or a mixer with dough hook……for about 4 – 5 minutes until a smooth dough……which should completely detach from the bowl wall……when that’s done, cut the dough into 8 pieces of approximately the same size with a knife……& then we can wrap the dough around the sausages……first form a long string under the palms of your hands……about twice the length of the sausages……& then just wrap it around the sausages……repeat the whole thing for the remaining sausages……& then place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper with a little distance between them……cover with a kitchen towel……& allow to rest in a warm place for 30 – 45 minutes……until the volume of the rolls has increased significantly……finally brush all the rolls with a little whisked egg……& so the whole thing goes into the preheated oven……at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for approx. 15 – 20 minutes……until the rolls have a golden brown color……get the finished rolls out of the oven……let them cool down briefly……& best served warm……I hope you liked the video……have fun baking & see you next video!
