if I told you this pancake had 60 grams
of protein 71 grams of carbs and 9 grams
of fat in under 600 calories would you
believe me
incidence video I’m showing you a huh
take the best protein pancake in three
minutes or less what is going on my
friend welcome back to the channel my
name is Brad Acosta of shredded four
life.com it is true it is true that
these pancakes have 60 grams of protein
9 grams of fat and 71 grams of carbs and
these pancakes can be made with only two
ingredients which you can see for even
more ideal calories lower calories and
perfect macros however for purposes of
this video I’m going to show you how I
prepare them which includes some
optional toppings you can totally make
the pancakes without but these toppings
really do take the pancakes to another
level of freaking euphoria
so what’s included beautiful thing about
this – all you need in addition to the
ingredients is a pan some cooking spray
and a scale to weigh the food really
simple let the games begin
step number one is mixed the pancake mix
with the egg whites and you can see I’m
weighing this out on the scale just like
and be sure that I’m hitting the right
serving size so the calories and the
macros will hold true you can see I’m
using the flapjack to mix here guys but
if you do not have it you can just mix
outs whole grain oats with any whey
protein powder or casein protein powder
which will give you the same effect
it’ll actually be just about the same
macros you can’t pick up flapjack
pancake mix on bodybuilding.com it’s not
expensive and the egg whites that you’re
seeing here as a committed natural body
builder does I do buy my egg whites
involved but you can also go to any
grocery store and buy a carton of egg
whites and that’ll do the trick now an
optional ingredient I personally add to
the mix because I freaking love peanut
butter you guys know how much I love
peanut butter
is PB fit so you can pick up he beef it
and pretty much again any grocery store
you can also pick it up on body but in
my comic it’s not expensive it’s like
peanut butter without the fat and a
little bit more protein so I’ll mix in a
little bit of that for the mix stir it
up and the pack says to wait for five
minutes for it to sit but I’m impatient
so I’ll throw it in the pan right
step number two is let the pancakemix
cook for 5 minutes and guys there’s a
very vital step here that you cannot
miss out on it is 50% or medium heat and
half the pancake if at all possible
cover because what this allows you to do
is not flip the pancake and I don’t know
about you but if I try to flip the
pancake it’s like a 50/50 shot then I
completely ruin the shape of it and
presentations freaking everything so
medium heat cover it let it cook for 5
minutes you guys there you have it a
difficult work is behind us step number
three is really simple it’s just adding
the optional topics at this point make
sure you weigh them out too as I’m
showing you my optional toppings that I
love is blueberries banana some
strawberry I’ll actually sprinkle a
little bit of protein powder and PB fit
on top as well just to get some more
protein in there and then I’ll use
Walden Farms syrup or maple groves farm
syrup on the top and some cool whip and
that presentation is absolutely bonkers
I would have this during my competition
prep for my competition that wrapped up
two weeks ago and this did wonders for
me when it comes to curbing my appetite
in my craving for sweets as we know our
cravings for sweets often does go up
when we are dieting and guys I said this
earlier presentation is everything
actually on the weekend when we have a
bit more time in the morning like
Saturday Sunday mornings that would take
some time to really prepare this even
though it only takes 15 20 minutes
because when I sit down to consume it I
like feeling like I’m having something
special almost like a guilty pleasure
and even though the macros and nutrition
fits perfectly in my nutrition so I’m
actually not breaking any rules
necessarily that TLC that goes into the
preparation really does wonders when it
comes to losing fat gaining muscle so
