To make these pancakes
Ingredients
Self Raising Flour the easiest
(If using plain all purpose flour you will need to add 6 tea spoons of baking powder – see below for details on how to make baking powder)
1lb Flour
Pinch Salt
3oz Caster Sugar
2oz Vegetable Oil
13 Fl Oz Milk
1 Egg Beaten
Method
Sieve the flour
Add dry ingredients
Mix gently with a fork
Make a well in dry ingredients
Pour in wet ingredients
Mix well
Beat with a wooden spoon for a minute to bring together
Should have a nice smooth silky mixture
Heat Frying Pan to medium
Use a griddle if available
Smear of butter into on between each pancake you fry
Scoop a dollop of mixture in to the frying pan
Fry gently
When small bubbles start to appear that’s it ready to turn
Enjoy on their own
With butter, jam, maple syrup, bacon!!!
So easy and delicious

Homemade Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Baking Powder = 1/2 teaspoon Cream of Tartar and 1/4 teaspoon of Bicarbonate of Soda
