How to make Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies!

hey guys welcome to cooking with Kylietoday I’m going to be showing you how tomake oatmeal chocolate chip cookieslet’s get started so the ingredientsyou’re gonna be needing are butter ormargarine you’re also gonna need brownsugar and then vanilla extract andyou’re gonna need some eggs or any twoof them and then for the dry ingredientsyou’re gonna be needing some white flourand also any kind of salt and then justsome baking soda and then of course yourall so the first step is to preheat theoven and you’re gonna need to preheat itto 325 degrees so I’m just gonna do thatokay so first of all you’re gonna need alarge bowl to put all your wetingredients in and first we’re gonna bestarting off with butter you’re gonnaneed a okay so I have my full cup ofbutter and I’m just gonna put that inright now[Music]okay so next step is to put in the sugarnow there are a couple options of whatyou can do for the sugar I like to dojust one cup of brown sugar but you canalso do half and half so half brownsugar and half white sugar or you canjust do half cup of brown sugar alltogether if you want to be less sweet orif you’re trying to cut back on yoursugar but what I’m going to be doingtoday is I’m going to be doing one fullcup of brown sugar okay I’m just gonnaput it in right nowokay so now we’re gonna mix themtogether I like to use a wooden spoonbut you can use whatever you like[Music][Music]okay so once you’re done mixing itshould look a little bit like this andthe next step is we’re gonna be addingsome vanilla extract okay so you’regoing to need two teaspoons of vanillaextract and be careful not to pour toomuch in one – okay so the next step iswe’re gonna be adding the eggs and forthis we are going to need an electricmixer if you don’t have one of thosethat’s okay but you are gonna have tomake sure that you really mix in theeggs really well so we’re only gonna beputting in one at a timeokay so now I’m gonna mix it in[Music][Music]okay so a good tip is to take your spoonand really make sure that you get allthe batter off on the side so it’seasier to mix with the mixer so nowyou’re going to be putting in the secondegg and again we’re just going to bedoing the same thing and make sure thatyou are getting all the batter off theside of the spoon so it’s easier to makeokay now that we’re done using yourbatter should look something like thisit’s getting a lot thicker now thatwe’ve added in the eggs and that’s allwe’re going to be doing for now in thisbowl so you can just take this bowl andset it aside and now we’re going to beneeding another Bowl but this one can bea little bit smaller so this is a mediumsized bowl and you’re also not gonna beneeding this mixer anymore so you canput that away for now okay so the firstdegree we’re gonna be putting in here iswhite flour and you’re gonna need one ina quarter cup of flour so I’m gonna getback okay so next we’re gonna be addingbaking soda and we’re gonna need 1/2teaspoon of that and then the next thingyou’re going to be needing is salt andyou can put in a full teaspoon if youlike but I normally measure out ateaspoon and then I only end up puttingin a few pinches because I don’t likethemso that is it for the dry ingredientsand I’m just gonna take a spoon and mixthem all together so here they are youcan’t really tell that those and all thethings in here once you mix it up it alljust looks the same but you still reallyneed to make sure that you’re mixing inthe salt and the baking soda well intothe flourokay so you’re gonna be needing the wetingredients again because we’re going tobe pouring the flour baking soda andsalt into this bowl little by little andthen mixing it using the electric mixerso I’m just gonna be putting in just alittle bit okay so this is all of theflour or dry mix that I added to thisbowl and now I’m gonna use the electricmixer to mix it all upokay so I’m just gonna keep doing thisI’m gonna keep pouring these ingredientsinto this bowl little by little and thenmixing it and I’ll be back when I’m done[Music]okay so now that I finished mixing allthe ingredients together it looks likethis and we can finally put away theelectric mixer first good and the nextis going to be putting in the UPS sowe’re gonna be needing three cups ofoats and I know it seems like a lot butonce you mix it in it doesn’t look likethat much okay so we’re gonna be puttingthem in kind of like the eggs we’regonna be putting in one cup of oats andthen mixing it and then the next cup ofoats and then once we’re done putting inthe oats I’ll tell you what’s next okayso now that I’ve mixed in all the oatsthis is what it should look like and thenext step is to be adding the chocolatechips so we’re going to be putting innormally putting in about half a bag soI’d say like a cop baby yeah you can putin as many as you like if you want a lotof chocolate chips then a lot but if youdon’t then don’t bother okay so here isthe finished product well this is whatthe cookie dough or batter is gonna belooking like there’s no more ingredientsto add all we need to do is put them onthe tray and bake them so I’m gonnaclean up my kitchen because I made kindof a mess and then I’ll be right back[Music][Music][Music]okay finish cleaning up and now we’regoing to be putting the cookies onto thepan and I’m gonna move the camera sothat you can see what I’m doing so youwon’t be seeing my face okay so I havemy pan here and what I find reallyhelpful for these type of cookies areice cream scoops so if you have an icecream scoopgo ahead and grab it and I like to usean ice cream scoop because I find itgets the perfect sized cookie when I’mputting down on the pan I’m also gonnabe using another spoon just to make iteasier so this aside for a second dudeso my batter you want to call it and I’mgoing to take my ice cream scooper andI’m just gonna scoop a little bit likethat and then just pop it right on tothe pan so that’s basically it and Inormally put about 12 cookies on eachpan and I can normally get about threepans so it does make a lot of cookies soI’m going to do that and then I’ll beback when I’m done[Music][Music]so our oven is already preheated to 325degrees so we can go ahead and put themin and they’re gonna have to stay in theoven for 12 minutes so you can put atimer on your oven or however[Music]okay so I just took them out of the ovenand this is what they look like andnormally I wait between ten and fifteenminutes before eating themjust do that just so that they can cooldown a bit[Music][Music][Music]okay so they’re done cooling and I
