When I’m asked to bring a treat to a party, I almost always bring apple pie. People always ask me about the crust. The recipe is only a tiny bit of the equation. Right now, in March of 2020, all over the U.S. we are “social distancing” due to Covid 19. Some friends have been wanting me to come over and teach them how to make pie crust. But, that won’t happen anytime soon. I was thinking about how everyone seems to have taken up baking lately now that we are all hanging out at home, and I thought that in addition to my friends, some other people might be interested in how to bake pie. I’m not a pro baker, and this pie isn’t super photogenic, but the crust is very flaky and delicious. Check out the video to learn more.
