good morning and welcome to anotherweekend vlog so it’s Friday May 15tharound 11 o’clock and I’m actually aboutto head out the door now Colton wentinto work today but I make my mom herein about an hour she gets off at 12 onFridays and we’re going to run arounduntil a few little stores and I need togo grocery shopping because this Sundaywe are hosting a little familyget-together so we weren’t able tocelebrate with his mom for Mother’s Daylast Sunday we were with my family sothis Sunday we’re having everybody overat the house and we’re gonna celebratewith his mom and dad his grandma andgrandpa his sister her husband and thenher husband’s mom and dad so I’m superexcited I love a full house I love tohost I love to prepare to host I loveall the things that comes with it so Ilike the prepping part I enjoy it soyesterday Thursday I spent all day longcleaning the house today I’m gonna gogrocery shopping tomorrow I’ll prep thefood and then by Sunday I’ll be readyfor everybody to come and I’ll be ableto relax with them so I’m gonna take youalong with today and then the rest ofthe weekend cold we’ll be home latertonight I’m not sure what we’re doingtonight yet we’ll just have to find outemergencies in this cage right now cuzI’m about to leave see if you can hearhim he’s not had a little happy he’s nota happy camper right now so let’s getthis day started but welcome to aweekend book but first before I go tothe grocery store anything like that Iam a big plannerI like lists and everything that comeswith it so what I’ve done here I live inone of these little planner 2020s if Idon’t have this with me I’m gonna belost so this morning it’s actually abeautiful day outside it’s so prettyit’s actually warm it’s like 80 degreesawesome sunny so I set out there and Imademy list I still have this terriblepurple nail polish on my nails I’ve gotto take it off tonight but I’ve got theday and I’ve got our menu for what we’rehaving we ran up grilled chicken sweetpotatoes pasta salad corn on the coblemon cake and I’m making a sangria andthen down here I’ve got my shopping forall the ingredients that I need and thenjust a few extra things on the back ofit so that’s what I do whenever I’mhosting I always have a list put that inmy purse here I’ve got to go because thedogs are not happy I’ve got my littlesnack here I’m just bringing a kindbreakfast protein bar the almond buttermy favorite I’ve got my water I need toget my since I’m bringing my cameratoday I need to grab my camera casewhich is in Colton’soffice down here think that’s all I needand I think there’s an extra battery butI’ll grab one anyways and now I’m readyto head out the doorI’m actually on time this morningnormally normally when I’m going placesI’m like I’m a very prepared andorganized person but for some reason Ican’t be on time anywhere I goit doesn’t make it’s like such anoxymoron I’m very organized but I’malways late if that makes senseI don’t know why I did that but anywaysI’m actually on time so I got to get outthe door now or I’m gonna mess it up andnot be on top hey ah it is a lot laterit is actually 8:15 now and I’ve justwalked back in the house about 15minutes ago and I didn’t film any of meand mom running around a little bittoday but I will say we ended up notgoing grocery shopping me : just gonnago tomorrow because we’ve got to get outanyways but we’re in the middle ofeating dinner and I totally forgot toshow y’all what we made for dinner Iwanted to show you all so I stoppedeating to go grab the camera but mombought us something toothat is super cute and it went perfectlywe were planning on having this fordinner anyways but then we found thistoday so let me show you really quickonce there okay so here’s what we gotfor dinner if you can tell so we hadbaconwe had some eggs blueberries and littleMickey wafflesthis is a very sad half-eaten Mickeywaffle very good it’s kind of like aColton’s eaten some bacon it’s kind oflike a pancake you waffle the mix Coltonkind of mix it up a little bit but I’mgonna finish that here in a second I’llshow you the good as the waffles yummyyou ignore the steps on the table yeahno they’re like a doughnut griddlecakesyeah they’re like a doughnut anyways ohyeah here’s a lone another one look howcute they are but here’s the one we gotwe found it at HomeGoods just says ohboy on the top of it and it’s got Mickeyinside so fun I was excited to come homeand make waffles so we’re you watch allthat 8:15 at night so now I’m gonna sitdown I’m going to finish my dinner butlet me show you what we got today reallyfast from the few little stores we wentinto one second so I’ve kind of beenredoing this room a little bit we gotthat new coffee table in side table sokind of had to like rearrange a fewthings in here but I like wit looks hereis what I purchased today what wepurchased today I got this tray for thetop of the coffee table and then thiscandle it’s really big candle it’s likea big statement piece candle so grabthat and then that’s I ordered thesepillow covers off Amazon but I got thispillow right here just like lumbarpillow therenow messed it up and then got nor thatI’m still rearranging a few things andthen got this let me turn the light onreal quickand then I also got this big vase typething it’s like wicker but it’s reallypretty looks like a woven basket itmatches everything really well here itis it the light on you can see so that’swhat we got the store today but now I’mgoing to finish my dinner and we’reabout to watch all the Netflix and thenprobably head to bed we’re not gonna domuch tonight even though it’s a Fridaynight we’re just gonna hang out eat ourMickey waffles and cold dirty cleaningup in the kitchen oh I bought somethingin the kitchen too one second let meturn this around and show you this we’regonna hang it up there very cute it’slike a stick wicker looking thing Idon’t know we had it at a maple syrupgross huh it’s all gross throw with itoh just the bottle yeah we need to getsome new maple syrup alright am Ifinished eatingbut like I was saying we are probablyjust going to hang out we are probablyjust gonna hang out here tonight got anight a lot of times on Friday nights wereally don’t do much right especiallythere in quarantine it’s Gordon DeanBibbyI’m looking like crazy sometimes when Ishop I get a really bad headache becausewhenever you’re you don’t get headacheswhenever you shot what you don’t evershop I get a headache because you’relooking you’re moving your neck andlooking each aisle back and forth and itgives me a headache for some reason soI’m gonna finish this food that Mason istrying to eat and then just chill outtonight figure out the stuff that Ibought and just hang out that’s whatwe’re going to be doing rightare you eating blueberries and thentomorrow we’re gonna go to the grocerystore and then I got to prep some foodtomorrow for Sunday I told him aboutSunday I’m having some family over andstuff so anything to say okayas you can see a professional landscapecrew came through here and hit our yardup good oh wait that was me he’scrouching on something actuallycrunching on what’s up all right open upgood morning it’s Saturday I’m chewingon themit’s Saturday May the 16th is this ohyeah May the 16thwe’re in the car pulling our driverright now but we’re headed to thegrocery store to Lowe’s we got to run afew errands I look so pale I’m kind ofinto empty hikes yeah tell them whatwe’re doing we’re done that going toLowe’s we’re going to the grocery storeand we’re going to oh we’re on all dayBaldy I see what yeah rightyeah we gotta go the dirty store cuz weended up not going yesterdayvery exciting[Music]oh hey what’s uplook melting I’m sure you got it so it’sabout two o’clock now we ran some of ourairings went to Lowe’s and now weactually have Colton’s mom and dad’shouse they live in the area and we gotship code so you got we both got bowlsyou got the carnita no barbacoa barbacoawith rice and I got the chicken withrice and lettuce and stuff okay so wejust yummy yummy mmm-hmmhey also it is a lot later it’s about 10o’clock now and we just got home for himrunning all of our errands we went tothe grocery store and we stopped by hisparents house it’s about 10 o’clock nowso that’s why it is a lot later but Iwanted to show this little pajama set Igot today at Target the material is socomfortable it’s got pockets it’s aone-piece and it’s got like elastic bandbecause it is a one-piece so I got thattoday at Target not too short I love itmy hair is wet like I said I’d pop thatshower but I want to show you everythingelse I got excuse this room it’s reallynot a mess it’s just not a veryflattering camera angle with all shoesbut what I got today we ended up goingto me and his mom ran a few errands Iran a few errands with her and I finallyfound a rug that I’ve been looking forfor our kitchen so let me spread it outhere here’s the rug that I got for akitchen from Target it is so pretty so Igot one for in front of the sink andit’s super soft and then I got one forour back door as a runner and then alsoI had to grab two curtains we needed twocurtains for our bedrooms so I got twocurtains here and I ended up gettingjust this white filtering curtain fromTarget it’s just like a crane color withI don’t know if you can tell it’s gotjust like some lines in ita little bit of texture so had to grabtwo of those and then at HomeGoods Ipicked up this basket for our bathroomI needed a basket for to keep liketoilet paper and stuff in and I’vealready got one that’s like that exactlook already and then I got thisbeautiful pillow some time goods andeverything at home goods TJ MaxxMarshalls everything like that is onclearance pretty much because they haveso much stock where it’s been sittingfor so long that they’re trying to clearout and I love this pillow it is sopretty it’s so perfect it’s theprettiest yellow and it is feather andit was on sale for only $15 so that’swhat we got todayColton is playing xbox he just wasgetting a drink out of the fridge helloMason Colton’s playing xbox like I justsaid and the boys are hanging out he wastalking to his friends but here’s ourliving rooms the way of kind of notrearranged it but redecorated it alittle bit I showed y’all what I got theother yesterdaygosh this weekend’s gone by here’s howit looks styled hey buddy so there thistable they’re just styled with thatcandle and the bays and there’s thatpillow it’s not really good lighting andkind of see a little bit better that wayhow the pillow matches the rug and thenhere’s that tall thing that I purchasedright there love that so this is wherethat one runner is gonna go and then thethe bigger one it’s gonna go well notthe bigger one but the square one arectangle one’s gonna go out there andjust change cuz I do not have anythingthere and then there’s that hung up soprettyhi buddy I know you’re there I don’tthinkyeah you down so what I’m about to donow is do a little prep work for ourget-together tomorrow we didn’t go tothe grocery store and I grabbed all ofthe ingredients to make I’ve got to cutup some strawberries some broccoli anddifferent things like that just kind ofjust prep and get it all together firstI’m gonna see what my new rugs and suchlooks like laid out yeah hey y’all it isSunday at get my watch to flip hello itis Sunday at 12 o’clock and we I will IColton has to we have been runningaround the house like crazy peoplebecause company is gonna be here in anhour yeah at one o’clock and so I justgot up this morning I cooked cleaned alittle bit prepped everything but Ithink we’re to a point to where we’relike prepared and ready to go I like tohave everything pretty much done I justhave to boil the corn but everything’sdone and I like to have everything donebefore company gets here so I can sitand enjoy the company cuz I don’t wantto be running around when people arehere that kind of defeats the purpose ofpeople coming over but I wanted to showyou all the rugs that I got last nightand what else oh the pillow and stufflike that because I showed you lastnight so if like I should show you whatthey look likeokay so here’s to sweet little boyseverything is all clean it is ready fora company here at Mason what do youalways do who the heck I got this littletable here because it’s got the paperplates and the cups and by the way thebest thing ever if you like to use paperplates at the Dollar Tree I cut myfinger so I have on and Elsa band-aidson my team so that or notbut at the Dollar Tree they have theseplastic paper plate holders becausesometimes these can be flimsy or if yourplates heavy so those are awesomegot cups herehere’s the living room all nice andclean so nice to have a clean house whencompanies coming over so I put my littleIvy back up there because that’s justwhere it’s happiest and here’s thepillow that I got yesterday it isabsolutely beautiful the yellows oh Ilove it so much it just looks greatthat’s corner so that’s that going it is80 degrees outside so that is just forlooks the heat is not rolling out ofthat but here are the two rugs in thekitchen here’s what it looks like Ithink it looks so good with I meanthey’re not the exact rug but they havethe same color so I like the differentpattern so we got that going I got thesecute little lemon plates aren’t those socute I got those at the Dollar Generalthis morning for my lemon cake that wemade here and I got these at the DollarTree for it to put the chicken on andstuff like that that way I can reusethem every time we have a cookout andI’m not wasting but here’s the other rugthe runner it looks great I love it itgoes with the gold lamp it looks perfectand let me show you the reason why I gotlemon plates and napkins because here isthe lemon cakemmm with the powdered sugar ice in lemonicing on top and some lemon wedgeswe’ve got homemade sangria up hereColton’s got some brats thawing outthere I got my broccoli salad there mytomato and cucumber stuff there I needto get the corn going let’s check onColton out here move no no no you can’tgo outside no Mason you can’t go outsideall right so here’s outside we extendedso this table extends so it can fit morepeople and food and stuff so we extendedthat the other day I’m just kind ofgiving you a brief of everything we’vedone this week and we’ve done a lot andI feel like we haven’t filmed that muchbut we filled up that hummingbird feederbut some seeds and the bird feed outthere why does the plantColton is hanging out out here him andhis mustache oh yeah we bought rosebushes yesterday at Lowe’s these arewhat are they called those rose bushesover there are called knockout rosebushes but these are Austin I can’tthink of the name of them but they werethese are $29 rose bushes and we’ve beenwanting to put some along this way aslike a little privacy area kind of likethat one does but there were only $10 apiece normally they’re 29 because theyliterally just ran out of room to putthem and so they just marked them downto ten to get rid of them so that’sawesomeColton Oh has it reallyso they okay yeah we normally have a lotof hummingbirds but we haven’t set itout yet this year so that’s perfectbut yeah so hopefully those will grow upand get big but Colton mowed the grasshe walked down the table for usyou’re gonna grill today we’re doingchicken wings chicken tenderloins anddrumsticks people up patio we’re justfreaking prepared today right we areprepared we’re ready for company are youready ready I’m excited I’m ready forthe day I’m actually on time today sothat’s good so now all I have to do likeI said is build a corn and you’re notgonna start on the chicken he’s notgonna start on the chicken till peopleget here right yeah so yeah it’s a goodday what he has his head on that saysgrill sergeant so yeah I’m excited foreverybody to come and hang out and maybewe can get a few clips of some peoplehere maybe not I don’t know it’s kind ofweird with like family that’s peoplethat’s not like immediate family to likepull out the camera what do you think sowe don’t know we might though not likevlog yeahso yeah me and Colton absolutely lovehosting I kind of talked about it Ithink the beginning of this vlog ourhouse is like the house that everybut it goes – we always have the summercookouts other than his parents wentthey had a pool but like with ourfriends and everything like that ourhouse is like the Hangout house and welove us and we like thrive when it comesto hosting we have it like down pat Ifeel like we get it so we have fun doingit and we like a full house of peopleit’s just excitingMurphy’s not so excited Murphy isexcited for his grandpa to come so hecan play oh yeah do you want to try thatsangria real quick so this is a homemadesangria recipe I found on Pinterest andI need to get the corn out – bullet aswell let me get that out kind is itfrozen corn for you no easier let’s tryso we got to put the the sprite in itshould you just dilute it with spritelike people pour their own know it sayspour it in there with it and mix it bratbefore serving let’s just taste itwithout the sprite first we like your Iwant we like dry one it’s made out of aCabernet summon y’all with just applesand blackberries strawberries oranges -cinnamon sticks I’ll link the recipedown below actually if you want to checkit out it’s really I mean it seemsreally good so we’re gonna try oh itsmells good did you stir it up no it’sfine we can just makes it like this okayget it one spoon yeah how long does thistakestovetop in a saucepan simmer for fourto seven minutes okay mmm don’t set thatdown because I’m saying yeah here I’vegot this it smells good yeah shut thefridge oh yeah the Christmas one cuzit’s got the cinnamon it’s a good handon the case it’s good I don’t know if itneeds bright maybe sure it’ll be a lotbigger like what refreshing that’scourtesy yeah slightly smells goodthere’s like pieces of fruit and stufflike the pulp and stuffoh my gosh yeah it’ll be good that’sreally good that’ll be so good in acrock-potfor Christmas time heat it up like themold you’re like a mold wood with alittle more cinnamon but some cluethinks it was bright will be good sinceit’s hot outside I think in ice I thinkthat’s kind of the point of it I don’t Imean it’s it’s sweet enough as it is Idon’t think it needs it the point forthe sweetener no definitely notice whatsimple syrup that is really good and itsaid this simple syrup if you look onthe recipe it says optional we ourfamily goes toward drier ones ratherthan sweet so probably no simple startprivative that’s really good though I’mdefinitely making this at Christmastimein a crock-pot though not cold yeah verygoodyum yum will link the feels nice I’ve gotmy PJs a hunt that I showed y’all lastnight that I bought at Target and nowwe’re just gonna hang out I’m actuallycertain some laundry for the week andwe’re just gonna hang out tonight like Isaid it’s almost 7 o’clock so I’m justgoing to watch some Netflixand probably do probably do a whole lotof nothing because I am wore out frompreparing for everybody to come and eatand clean it up and all that good stuffso I’ll just do some laundry and watchsome Netflix but I want to show yousomething real quickso here’s the clean kitchen here thingsall vacuumed and cleaned up he’sstanding sitting there because somebodyout here I think I showed y’all clip ofyeah we we filmed a little clip ofeverybody kind of standing around andeating chicken butthere’s Colton he is not with he’s beeneating the freight out of this angry Igot you off guard that he was we wantedto see what the fruit tasted like thathad been I’m soaking up with a sangriaball it is actually really good how wasyour nap pretty good and not I mean Istarted some laundry and put put my PJson and cleaned up a little bit not toolong but it is an absolutely beautifulafternoon it’s probably not even helpwhat’s the temperature out hereit’s like 76 degrees it’s like 76degrees out here and it feels absolutelyit feels absolutely amazing it’s likethe nicest breeze 70s no humidity itrained a little bit this afternoon sothat kind of brought in a little bit ofa cold front cuz it’s kind of warm thismorning so it is a nice afternoon butwe’ve been outside all day so I kind ofjust want to go in and hang out in theden right watching Netflix or somethingsounds like a good night to me a newlaundry but yeah well insert the clip ofeverybody I’m sure you’ve already seenit actually the clip of every Colton’sgrilling and everybody hanging out itwas really fun what do you think lots offun yeah it was nice having everybodyover but like I said it is a gorgeousgorgeous gorgeous afternoon so prettyplants are our blooming loving thisweather my rose bushes are blooming andsuch a nice day oh I didn’t show you allI didn’t show you all these other plantsI got yesterday so I already had thiscilantro here and in this basil growingdoing so good but I got these twoyesterday at Lowe’s and it’s like it’scalled a fluffy ruffle ferna little mini fern and then this is justlike Ivy or something or maybe I don’tthink it’s a hosta surely not I don’tknow it might be a hosta it looks like ahosta but anyways and that’s just aplant that I’m propagating right now wegot everything wiped down and cleaned upon the tables as well I think I alreadyshowed y’all my rose bushes my coltonplanted for me okaygoing for another fruit so yeah we’rejust gonna hang out so peaceful in hereright now so peaceful and quiet andclean it’s so nice it’s like the bestfeeling all right so it’s about nineo’clock now and we’ve just been hangingout in the den I’ve been doing somelaundry and we just been watchingNetflix but I thought I’d go ahead andwrap up the vlog now I’ll show you whatwe’re doing and then we’ll probably endit tonight since this is a weekend vlogbut what we’ve been doing alright sowe’ve just been hanging out in the denI’ve got my clothes that’s dry andhanging up there Muhsin is very excitedfor some reason if I can get it to focusI did that won’t focus on him anywayMason’s
