How to make Combee Waffles with Honey Cooking Animation

When I first heard of this mobile game, I thought it was gonna be a cooking game, but it turned out to be more of a puzzle game where you solve puzzles to unlock different dishes and Pokémon to join your cafe so…⁣

I DECIDED I’LL MAKE IT INTO A GAME MYSELF (ง’̀-‘́)ง (of course not a functioning game but an animation like game)⁣

I tried looking online for recipes since there wasn’t a clear description what the foods were made of in the game so I thought…hmm imma make it into a mochi waffle since… I was kinda craving it (ᗒᗣᗕ)՞⁣

I designed a waffle mold in a shape of a Combee which was inspired by Taiyaki. Taiyaki is a Japanese fish-shaped cake with filling inside like red beans. I really love the mold that it was made in and thought this would be the best method to make these Combee Waffles. ⁣

Took some time to design the mold to fit the Combee theme but I LOVED IT! I drew the shape of the mold into a hexagon and added a small honey dipper stick. Hehe it was kinda cute and I wish this was real… I would make waffles everyday~⁣

For this animation, I knew I wanted to do something different. Something more challenging.⁣
⁣
I wanted to challenge myself this time to make it seem like you were playing the game. To accomplish this effect, I added a slider component on the left and right sides listing the ingredients & kitchenware needed to make this recipe. ⁣
