  • First aired: October 5, 2025 on CBC Television.

  • Also available streaming on CBC Gem on Sundays starting at 9:00 AM ET, and on CBC TV at 8:00 PM local time.

  • Season consists of 8 episodes, each a full hour.

 

Hosts & Judges

 

  • Hosts: Alan Shane Lewis and Ann Pornel return for another season.

  • Judges: Bruno Feldeisen (seasoned pastry chef) and Kyla Kennaley are back.

 

Format & Structure

 

  • 10 amateur bakers compete over three challenges each week: Signature Bake, Technical Bake, and Showstopper.

  • Each week one baker becomes Star Baker, and one is eliminated.

  • In the final episode, the final three bakers face off for the cake plate and the title of Canada’s best amateur baker.
