Best Soft and airy apple cake.
This easy cake has just 5 ingredients, 15 min of prepared.
It’s made up of a light sponge сake, filled with small apple pieces.
Ingredients:
Flour 200gr,
Sugar 150~200 (optional),
Egg 3pcs,
Baking powder 1/2 tsp or soda 1/2 tsp + lemon juice (vinegar).
Apples 3 pcs per pie + 1 for decoration.
1. In the bowl combine 3 large room temperature eggs and beat.
2. Add 1 cup (200g) of sugar. Continue beat.
3. Add flour + 1/2 teaspoon baking powder. Mix between each addition. continue mix just until all flours incorporated.
4. Now peel, core and chop 3 apples.
5.Now add all of your diced apples. Mix just until combined .
6. You need a 9 inch (23cm)springform pan.
7. Bottom lined with a ring of parchment paper.
8. Transfer all of the batter into the pan gently smoothing out the top.
9. Peel, core and chop 1 apple into thin slices.
10. Decorate the top with thin apple wedges.
11. Transfer it to the prepared oven right away.
Bake at 180°C / 350°F Fahrenheit for 45~55min
