Pancakes | Almond Banana Wheat Pancake | How to make soft pancakes | No egg | Cream of the crop

Making a new and easy recipe on weekends is what all we wish. Here is one healthy recipe – Pancakes loaded with nutrients. I have made this with wheat as whole wheat flour is considered healthier than maida. This pan cake is loaded with almonds, raisins and banana which are rich source of nutrients. I have added health benefit chart as well 🙂

Why I chose wheat over maida ?

In Maida, the skin of the grains beneath the original skin is removed. so maida flour contains only the endosperm. I.e it has only the carbohydrates and loses most of the vitamins and minerals. It also affects digestive system of the body

Ingredients used:
Wheat flour – 1 cup
Almonds & Raisins – 5-6 (soaked overnight)
Banana – 1
Milk – 1 cup
Icing sugar – 1/2 cup (or as per taste)
Ghee – 1 tbsp
Baking powder – 1 tsp
Baking soda – 1/4 tsp
Salt – a pinch
Water
Honey

Preparation time – 15 mins – (Includes blending of fruits and nuts, preparing icing sugar, sieving of wheat flour, batter preparation and garnishing)
Cooking time – 10 mins
