hi welcome to dad’s dishes today we’regonna be making a slightly healthierversion of pancakes and pancakes for acrowd a sheet pan pancake I’ve nevertried this recipe before so I’m excitedto see how it goes the ingredientsinstead of white flour will be acombination of peptide powder nevertried that before but it containscollagen x’ whole wheat flour and oatsno processed sugar maple syrup a littlebit of coconut oil and and almond milkor you can choose another milk ofnon-dairy milk of your choice bakingpowder vanilla eggs and salt first stepgrind up the oats into a flour likeconsistency I’ve got a double batch soI’m using a food processor2 cups worth in here for a double batch[Music]so that’s pretty good usually I like touse a spice grinder it gets it round alittle finer but since this is a bigbatch I’ll make do with this next havethe peptide powder the wheat flour thebaking powder and saltmix that all together with the oats soat this point because I have a doublebatch I divided the dry ingredients intotwo different bowls equal sized bowlsand I’m going to mix up a double batchof the wet ingredients in the foodprocessor the eggs the maple syrup thevanilla the non-dairy milk as well asthe melted coconut oil let’s try thatagaintake twocan you tell I’m not a frequent user ofmy food processor apparently that was alittle too much liquid for the bowl tohandle where’s the wise no doublebatches of liquid we processor for thisrecipe oven for 25 check just like wherethe regular pancake mix don’t over mixthe batter just enough until it’smoistened and I’m actually letting thesesit and absorb liquid for a little bitbecause it’s both oats and whole wheatflour that typically takes a little bitlonger to absorb the liquid so while theoven is preheating I’m doing that andgetting my pants ready the recipe callsfor 9 by 13 pans mine are a littlebigger we’ll see how this works and itdoesn’t call for parchment paper but Ican’t imagine that it’s not going tomake a complete mess if I don’t use somekind of parchment paper or covering downthere so I’m going to try the parchmentpaper as wellI just grease those up with a little bitof coconut oiland of course I’m not even sure mychildren would eat these if I didn’t puton some chocolate chips and until yeahwhen they go for about 15 months theyare out of the oven after about 15minutes nicely golden brown toothpickcomes out clean kind of looks like acookie cake we’ll see how it tastes soall in all the taste of these pancakeswas great all my kids love them they eatthem up we’re nice and fluffy and youfeel better as the parent knowing you’regiving them something that’s healthierlet’s sum up how is this healthier firstno processed white flour whole grainsonly in these pancakes with wheat flourand oats second addition of peptideswhich have collagenthird no man-made processed white sugarwe’ve subbed with maple syrup and lastwe’ve had put in coconut oil instead ofvegetable or canola oil which aremandated process again please give thisvideo a like and subscribe to my channelthanks for watching
