In this video I want to show how to make Cottage cheese pancakes or Russian Syrniki.
This is easy, healthy and delicious breakfast. Spend just 10-15 minutes on the kitchen and enjoy the great taste of cottage cheese pancakes.
Serve with sour cream, honey and fresh berries.

Ingredients
400 g cottage cheese (0.9 lb)
1 egg
2 tbsp sugar (or to taste)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tbsp farina (wheat cereal)
2 tbsp flour (+ extra for work surface)
butter, oil for frying
Preparation
1. Place cottage cheese, egg, sugar, vanilla extract and farina in a bowl and rub well or use a blender.
2. Add flour and mix well.
3. Sprinkle your board and hands with flour.
4. Form Syrniki sprinkling them with flour.
5. Heat a large sauté pan or griddle over medium heat, lightly coat with some oil and a little bit of butter and fry pancakes on each side until pancakes are set and golden.
6. Serve Syrniki with sour cream and jam, or yogurt and honey, fresh berries or berry sause.
P.S. If you dont have farina, just add another 2 tbsp flour.
