No Bake Oatmeal Cookies

hi everybody welcome back to my channelI’m your host Anna and today I’m gonnamake some no big style oatmeal cookiesso I’m gonna tell you what the recipe isI got it from allrecipes.comallrecipes.com I’m already melting someof the ingredients I want to get thesegood and melty before I put in thepeanut butter and then the oats as partof the final step so the ingredients are2 cups of white sugar normally I onlytry to do one cup but I went on aheadand add 2 cups today and this is 1/4 cupof cocoa powder I don’t use cocoa powderI went on ahead and use some of my Bakersecret so unsweetened cocoa so I did for8 squares 8 squares and I threw in twomore for good measure because I have touse up my squares then I used 1/2 cup ofmilk 1/2 cup of margarine that’s onewhole stick of butter you guys one wholestick of butter and it is salt insidethat I’m not putting any salt I’m 1teaspoon of vanilla and it requires 1/2cup which is 8 tablespoons for myunderstanding of peanut butter and then3 cups I’m gonna use up what I have hereI don’t know if I have 3 cups or not butI’m gonna check of oats and I’m hopingthat I have enough of the oats I don’tknow if I have 3 cups worth but I’mtrying to use that one up so we’ll playit by ear we’ll see what happens ok soright now actually see I’m just lettingit meltletting it melt it’s melting up verynice I’m gonna turn down the heat okturn down this heat then I’m going toI’m going to try to use this peanutbutter in the dis peanut but that I haveI’m just trying to use like the peanutbutters that I have you guysI’m just trying to use a map that’s nicealmost gone this is like a cookie cookiekind peel you know better so there’s onetablespoon this one’s done that can gointo recycling then I don’t know ifthat’s this doesn’t smell right anymoreassessment open I’m not gonna use thisone this one away I don’t like the waythat feels smells if it smells funny I’mnot using it don’t want okay that’sbrand new we don’t want to make thekiddos sick okay so let’s get some morepeanut butter going here six seven andthis is a great way to use up old peanutbutter that you know is gonna go badsoon just to try to use it up this is agreat way to do it okay so that’s whatI’m gonna use right now I already putout some wax paper as you can see righthere so I’m gonna just leave these righthere on the side I’m gonna start to pullthat in there okay alreadythose over here and I’m gonna startmelting this start melting up thispeanut butter and then I will put in the[Music]maybe I need a little bit more peanutbutter I feel like I need some morepeanut butter you know when you justfeel like you need something I feel likeI need it this one’s almost done lookI’m almost completely done with it I’masshole try to scrape out as much as Ican I know I have like a smaller onemaybe is dirty yeah that one’s too big Idon’t have some smaller ones dosomething just about I’ve got the realsmall ones before so I could scoop stuffout just for this type of occasion andof course when you need it you can’tfind it happens but I wanted to use upthese oats and I’m probably gonna end upmaking oatmeal these kind of oatmealcookies for the next couple of days likeat least once or twice a week I’m gonnabe trying to do this because I have someoats that I want to use up and and somesome of this baker’s chocolate this onneeds to be usedhere we go just put this in there let’skeep on flowing y’all the only thingabout this recipe and put this righthere the only thing about this recipe isthat you really have to kind of movefast when you have to start putting thecookies on your you know your wax paperor whatever type of paper you want touse you kind of have to move fastand again this recipe is onallrecipes.comthey’re awesome I always find reallygood recipes for all kinds of stuff nowyou see it’s almost completely melted Istill see a couple of chunks in thereI’m just gonna keep it moving I’m gonnaturn up the heat and you can see it’slooking really good right look at thatso this look this is gonna be a nicelittle treat for the boys soon as theyget in from school this is gonna be asweet treat and they’ll have peanutbutter and I’ll have oats and all thisgood stuff all mixed up in there okay sothis is looking pretty good to me rightnow yeah almost all of it yeah all ofits like melt it up really good okaythat’s melted up really good yeah it islet’s see how many things of oats I haveyou’re supposed to use three I don’tknow if I have three cups worth Iprobably do one two threeOh actually I do you only have a littlebit more I’m just gonna throw it inthere there we go we’re done down withmy old job I’m done yay okay so I’m donewith my oats now it’s time to mix themin okay and just be careful when you mixa man because it can get a little messyif you do it a little bit too fast someof the oats might fall out of the pan sojust keep on moving it and you see howquickly the process is especially onceyou get everything in the pin the pinand you just start melting everythingit’s pretty quick it’s actually prey toguard starting it quick see why don’tget them all and they’re good and mixedup okay and you keep going and keepmixing and then once you think you gotem all covered up you guysmix a little bit moreyeah bit more you see how I just want tomake sure I got em all good and coveredthis does work out your arm I thinkthat’s not really good I’m gonna goahead and turn off the heat okay putthat right there as you can see it looksgreat now what I’m gonna do is I’m gonnastart putting some here and you just putthem in little in little piles like thisokay you put them in little piles likethis and they can get messysee how I’ve missed some right herealready you can get a little messy soyou can use you can use like a littleyou know a little scooper if you want todo it with this scoop I’m just using itwith a spoon that I have and they’regonna come out in different shapesobviously and then you need to let themdry for a long time for at least 25minutes wait until they’re cool don’tdip into them while they’re warm or hotbecause they’ll kind of just crumble youreally want to wait until they’re likereally nice and cool and you’ll be ableto take them right off the paper noproblem if you do it beforehand youmight have a problem trying to take themoff the paper I’m gonna try a scooch allup here real quickI don’t know how close I’m gonna be ableto get there we goall right so as you can see I’m just I’mjust taking spoonfuls and putting someon it on this wax paper okay and itdoesn’t matter how they look they’regonna be just fine when you eat themtrust me they’re gonna be just fine whenyou eat them and my husband likes thesemy kids like these I haven’t made thesein a long time actuallybut I had you know when you have stuffin your in your pantry and you know youneed to use it just go ahead and bakewith it use it up challenge yourself touse up the things that you know have tobe used and make things that you knoweverybody is going to enjoy so as youcan tell this makes a nice large amountI’m probably gonna have to put some morepaper out wax paper I’m probably gonnahave to do that but these are so goodthese taste really really yummy guyshope y’all can still y’all can still seeme going yeah you see I’m still goingit’s a good amount so this is a good agood thing to do with the grandchildrenif they’re about to come home or withyour kids like me you waited you waitedlate in life to have kids like a crazypersonwell you know we didn’t plan it God hadplans for us you know we thought we weredone and you know God had other plansfor us so you know my children are ablessing even though they came very latein life my six year olds just turned sixmy twins and I’m going to be 49 in Mayso again I think I’m gonna have to getsome more paper so now I’m gonna startshifting over here on this side but Ijust wanted to show you how easy it istry to make some treats for the kiddosand using what you got and challengingyourself
