hello so we are making sugar cookies and
all I’ve done so far is grease my pan I
haven’t created that because I like to
do that when I’m like rolling it out and
using the cookie cutters I just about to
mix 1 and 1/2 cup of sugar and 1 cup of
salted butter
I used a lightly salted
so the butter is supposed to be

so we kind of have this consistency now
and we’re going to add two eggs to this
oh I got a show
I’ve got two shells in there how money
just mix the eggs in the butter

you got something that looks kind of
like that down and now we’re gonna go
ahead and add our salt and baking powder
yep so we are adding half a cheese salt
and two teaspoons baking powder

it is a little bit harder with me hand
mixer cuz you got to do it yourself and
also because you have to hold the ball
so now we’re adding half a cup
buttermilk I did not have buttermilk or
do not have so we’re just gonna add just
a little under half a cup of just
regular milk and at this time we’re also
gonna add one teaspoon vanilla I might
add
you know I shall probably just leave it
at that recipe you can add like you can
add any flavoured extract like lemon

our flower this recipe calls for four
and a half to five and it just depends
on how the consistency goes so I’m glad
because I know I’ll definitely need at
least two cups so I’m gonna add those
two cups in gonna be
so sick

so if you see you could tell that that
would be sticky if I were to touch it
like it is stuck right to my finger so
we’re gonna add one more cup and if
we’re gonna go with two cups so that
puts us at four and then I’ll see how
the consistency is it does say four and
a half to five and a half cups
and now when you start you probably
don’t want the bankai power
so now we’re just gonna knock it off
I am going to add that other half no I
might add the full cup another full cup
so that puts us at five cups so because
it’s still fairly sticky just get a lot
of wet so I mean you know he’s gonna
kind of say it out but don’t put all
your flour in at once with the flour you
want to make it gradual like a slow so
back to here so it is a little bit more
stickman we’re just gonna work with half
a little bit more sticky than I thought
it was but I did flour my surface and so
we’ll just you know Wilson flowering
it’s very soft but you want it to be
this kind of elastic heat and you still
want a little bit of stickiness but not
like too much that you can’t mix it in
right
I’m going to mix in just a little bit of
powdered sugar um cuz that’s a step I’ve
never done before and I think every time
I’ve done sugar cookies I always just
get a recipe off like online I’ve never
actually written you down
why didn’t that’s worked really good
probably shut up
my uh my grandma taught me how to knead
when she would make bread or her dough I
guess for pizza and her bread and she’d
be like get into it like Portuguese
these are the cookie cutters I’m using
couldn’t get any like at the book burn
anything in a short amount of time for
Halloween are not throwing for
Thanksgiving I was specifically looking
for a decent size turkey hand
um well Turkey anyways so I had these
two already so we are just gonna make
some flowers and some circles as well
and then I did find this little little
tiny pumpkin thing and this ghost if you
do have the dough at a time it’s just
easier to obviously maneuver and roll

so there can the thickness most of them
I would say it’s maybe like a centimeter

so here’s train the middle you know some
ghosts and pumpkins as some flowers
pumpkins and painting that’s my favorite
one
they’re obviously baked so now she’s
decorating like right every day
y’all can probably hear
looks like an easter egg I know that’s
why I don’t want to use that one I was
trying to think of like a funky pattern
