LOW FAT TRIPLE CHOCOLATE COOKIES RECIPE – Super Easy & Delicious!

Hey guys!

Welcome to the first Episode of Dani Bakes!

Today I’m going to share with you my own favourite LOW FAT TRIPLE CHOCOLATE COOKIES recipe… it is so delicious and healthier than a classic chocolate chip cookie recipe as it has half the fat!

Time: 45 mins
Portions : 7 medium size cookies

Ingredients:
– 1 cup all purpose flour
– ¼ cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
– ¼ teaspoon salt
– ½ teaspoon baking powder
– ¼ cup soft brown sugar
– ½ golden caster sugar (you can also replace with soft brown sugar if needed)
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 large egg
– ¼ cup melted butter
– 40g white chocolate chunks
– 40g milk chocolate chunks
You can also add dark chocolate chunks if you want

Instructions:
1. In a large bowl, neat butter and sugars together with an electric mixer for c. 3min at medium speed.
2. Add egg and vanilla extract and mix at low speed for 30 secs until well blended (Do not overmix as it will affect the texture of the cookies).
3. In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt.
4. Gradually add the flour mix (using a strainer) to the wet ingredients, mixing between each addition with the electric mixer at low speed – it might look a bit crumbly, so don’t worry about the texture of the mix
5. Add chocolate chunks and gently mix with a spatula, and make a big cookie dough ball.
6. Place the cookie dough in a bowl and place in the refrigerator for 30 mins to 1hr or in the freezer for 10 mins.
7. Preheat the oven at 200C and line an oven tray with parchment/baking paper or a silicone mat.
8. Take cookie dough out of the fridge, make cookie balls approx. the size of an ice cream scoop – make them more or less thick so they are soft and gooey when they come out of the oven.
9. Place them in the oven and bake for 5 minutes in the middle tray – Don’t exceed this time as otherwise they might get dry and hard.
10. Take cookies out of the oven and let them cool for 10 mins – they might feel very very soft and undercooked, but don’t worry, they will continue to cook a bit more outside the oven due to their temperature.
11. ENJOY THEM WARM AND SOFT! You can save them for another day in a sealed tupperware but they are best enjoyed fresh out of the oven!

what’s up guys sunny here and today I’mgonna be teaching you how to make myamazing delicious low-fat triplechocolate cookies let’s do it for thisrecipe we’re gonna be using 1 cup ofall-purpose flour and 1/4 cup ofunsweetened cocoa powder 1/4 teaspoon ofsalt 1/2 a teaspoon of baking soda 1teaspoon of vanilla extract 1/2 a cup ofgolden caster sugar and a quarter cup ofbrown soft sugar we’re also gonna use aquarter cup of melted unsalted butter 1large egg and some chocolate to chop andput on the cookies these ingredients areenough for around 7 to 8 cookies and ittakes 45 minutes to prepare so the firstthing we’re gonna be doing guys ismixing our sugars with the butter andwith an electric mixer we’re gonna mixthese two things for around 3 minutesit’s gonna be a little bit crumbly itwon’t melt particularly well the sugarbecause we’re using half the normalbutter that we will use in normalcookies so just be patient and keepmixing for around 3 minutes so then wecan be ready to add the otheringredients next we’re gonna add our eggand our vanilla extract and we’re gonnause the electric mixer again for about30 seconds to mix everything evenly wewant to make sure that you don’t overmix the mixture so just make sure youput your electric mixer in the lowestsetting because otherwise these willchange the texture of the cookies so becareful with thatnow we can put aside our liquid mixturefor a bit and prepare ourselves to mixthe wet and the dry ingredients byadding the salt and the baking soda tothe all-purpose flour and the cocoapowder and now guys we’re going to startmixing our wet ingredients with our dryingredients so with a sieve we’re goingto start putting the flour and cocoapowder mixture into our wet ingredientslittle by little and mixing it with ourelectric mixer in the lowest setting itwill end up looking a bit crumbly butdon’t worry guys because we’re gonna fixthat once we mix it with the chocolatesnext we’re gonna mix our chocolatechunks into the mixture gently with aspatula until we have a delicious ballof cookie dough madness[Music]once our cookie dough is ready we’regonna put it in a bowl and cover it withcling film and then take it to thefridge and store it there for aroundhalf an hour to an hour if you want itto be faster you’re gonna have to put itin your freezer for around 10 minutesand now it’s cooking making time so forthis guys we’re gonna make little ballswith our cookie dough and then we’regonna flatten them a little bit but wewant to make them thick enough so thatwhen we put them in the oven and theycome out they’re gooey and deliciousmake sure you don’t make them too flatbecause then they’re not gonna be gooeythey’re gonna be a little bit dry[Music]so guys it’s finally baking time so whatwe’re gonna do for this is we’re gonnapreheat our oven at 200 degrees Celsiusand we’re gonna put our cookies in forfive minutes only five minutes that’llbe more than enough guys after thosefive minutes when we open the oven we’regonna touch our cookies and make surethat they’re super soft and gooey itmight mean that they’re a bitundercooked but don’t worry becausethey’ll continue cooking while you letthem cool out make sure they’re not hardbecause otherwise we’ll be very very drycool time should be around five to tenminutes and then they’re more than readyto enjoy warm and delicious and this isit for this video guys I hope youenjoyed it if you did don’t forget togive us a like subscribe to my channelfor more fun videos and comment anyquestions suggestions tips new recipesyou want me to try anything you wantguys thanks for watching this video I’llcatch you up in the next one stay safewhat Danny out
