Let’s bake some Swiss Mailänderli (pronounced ” ‘my-land-er-lee”) cookies!
They are rather similar to English and American sugar cookies, just a little less crumble, softer, smoother and lemon-butter flavored.
In this video, I will walk you through the recipe and show you how I made some cute little Overwatch themed cookie cutters and cookie stamps.
Recipe:
250 gr. butter (9 oz.) (room temperature)
250 gr. Sugar (9 oz.)
2 large eggs (or 3 smaller ones)
3–4 Tbs. milk (optional, in case the dough ends up a little crumbly)
1 pinch of salt
1 grated lemon peel
500 gr. Flour (18 oz.)
Material used for cookie cutters & stamps:
Super Sculpey (polymer clay) soft
Tin plate steel, heavy duty
Lead free solder
