hi guys it’s autumn with fall girl DIYhope you guys are having a great nighttonight I’m coming on late it’s been abusy day so I apologize but I hope youcan still join us let me make sure youreffin do that sorry guysokay hopefully they’ll pop it okay sowe’re not actually baking cookies todayeven though I love baking cookies butafter doing this craft I feel like maybetomorrow I should make some cookies Ihave this recipe for chocolate chipcookies and they’re so goodso maybe chocolate chip cookies will bein the forecast of things to do tomorrowall right so let me open this up this isa and I’m seeingcomment so hoping hoping that you’recommenting so one thing about cookiesthat I absolutely love is will not onlyjust eating them but dunking them inmilk but I always love having a cookiewhen people come over or especially likewhen we have a group of kids orteenagers coming over I love just havinga plate full of cookies for them tomunch on okay if you’ve never seen thisboard in pillar stand it is awesome ithas a hole in them it has two holes onthe back so that way you can prop it inthe stand this way or prop it in thestand this way so if you have a designthat’s going this way obviously you wantyour design to show up this way or ifyou have a design going this way you canput it there so we’re gonna do the let’sbake cookies on today and then I alsohave another craft to go along with thisI hope you guys stick with me and enjoythis little project this transfer iscalled let’s abate cookies they arereusable all you have to do is wash themwith water and when they’re dry you canuse them over and over again so let mecut this one I really like this one thisone’s really cute I love you a latte soif you have like a little coffee area inyour house or in your kitchen you canuse that super cute this one says let’smake cookies this is going to go on mycounter because I absolutely love bakingand love eating cookies who doesn’tcomment and let me know what yourfavorite cookie is I would love to hearand see what some of your favoritecookies are mine my favorite cookie isprobably a chocolate chip cookie myhusband’s favorite cookie are Oreos andyou guyswe don’t really do like biggis forvalentine’s but around sometimes ibought him a package of Oreos that arelike the mega stuff and holy cow theywere so good I loved him and I was likeI know this is your present but can Ihave a couple more of your chocolatechip cookieshe was sweet enough to share but ifyou’ve never had those and you are Oreoconnoisseur get some because they areawesome all right so all I’m doing islaying this transfer down on at my trotForge and just smoothing it out with mysqueegee just to get all the air bubblesout so it is nice and flat and thenagain if you’ve never watched me beforeI do a lot of neutral colors in thehouse and so a lot of times when I amcreating something for my house I dothose colors because that’s what I havein my decor style so a lot of Gray’s andwhites black and white buffalo checkI love buffalo plaid so we’re gonna do agray and white for this one I’m going todo the spatula in grey and then all thewords in white so all you do is get somechalk paste and you go over that designwith your chop pace you scrape off theextra put the extra back in your jar andthen you simply do the next side or thenext so I’m just doing the letters allin white and it says let’s bake cookiesit’s really cute I can’t wait to putthis on my counter but like I said it’sgonna make me want to bake cookiestomorrow but yeah let me know what yourfavorite cookie is I love like I saidchocolate chip cookies but I also lovetheir like a brownie cookie you justlike brownies mix so once you scrapeyour paste off all you do islift this up and look at that design itsgreatness it’s like perfectlettering and when it dries it doesn’trub off but if I ever want to changethis out it literally just washes offwith water this stuff is fantabulousthen I’m going to show you I’ve justthis tub of water and all you do isstick your transfer in the water and Ijust use my hand you can use like alittle scrub or we have a board eraserthat works great you just simply get youwant to get the paste off of yourtransfer to get it all clean so that’swhat I did here and I’m just gonna layit on my mat real quick what I do youdon’t have to do this but I always dojust because I found that my transfer islast longer when I do this is I get adisinfectant wipe and I literally justwipe the front set or the back sidethat’s a sticky side in the front sideof my transfer and that just gets itnice and clean and like I said I tend tofound that they last longer and I canuse them more but once this dries youcan use it over and over again so theyare reusable they’re just silkscreen sovery fun and super easy to use then letme show you how to put this and there’sa little peg I think the new boards thisis an older board that I have the newones have a twist to them so it’s atwist instead of a push pin essentiallyso I’m just lining that there we goputting the pin in the back so it willhold my board and there is my board andI am going to add a little ribbon aroundthe base of my boardbecause I think it just adds a cutelittle touch so let me do that realquick and show you I thought I might doa bow actually so let me show you how todo a quick and easy bow alright so thisis my bow trick all you do is get yourribbon and you make a a ribbon like acancer ribbon so you make that and thenyou literally just like push the topportion down and squeeze in the middleand you have like a perfect little bowthese scissors are not great ribbonscissors so let me trim that becauseit’s a little too long and I do need alonger piece to tie around there since Idecided to do a bow I could havemeasured that out a little bit better abit that’s okayalright so I’m just gonna tie my ribbonaround the center of my bow and thensimply add my bow to my board in baseand that and then I’m gonna so I justtied it around the back I’m gonna bringthose ties around the front and doanother tie in the front so then thatway I have more thingies I’m justtrimming this because it frayed just alittle bit and I want it to look alittle bit nicer so there we golook how fast and simple but beautifulthis project is that you can set on yourcounter again when this chop paste driesit doesn’t rub off to the touch but youcan definitely wash it off after you’redone playing say you’re done with let’ssay cookies and you want something elselike you want to change it up so I loveyou a latteyou can totally do that you just wash itoff with water super simple and easy soI’m going to set that there first timewatching I’m so excited so sorry I amjustsinging comments I don’t know why theyweren’t popping it but welcome I’mautumn going to useto go along with these is this thesemini rolling pins they came in a set ofthree from a craft store and we’re gonnadecorate them I’m so excited so I have athree-tiered stand that I keep outyear-round on my counter in my kitchen Ilove it and I always keep rolling pinsnot mini ones but big ones and they’reantique ones and most of the time Ithere’s two one I keep just a naturalthe natural wood color the other oneevery season or holiday I switch it outby simply adding scrapbook paper to itand so like for Easter I have Easter eggpaper around it for Valentine’s I hadheart paper around it so I’m going toshow you how easy it is to decorate andchange out a cute little rolling pin andI’m going to show you what I’m gonna dowith these as well so what I do I likefor some of the rolling pin to actuallyshow so I just move the paper over justa little bit and then measure or justkind of eyeball really where I want mypaper to go and then I cut that so asyou can see if I put the paper here youcan see just a little bit of the edge ofthe rolling pin on each side and thenall I do is roll that up and then againmeasure or figure out where I need tocut it and I just cut off the extra ofthat paper and then I get y’all this isfancy double-sided tape and I just putsome double-sided tape down on my paperthen again just line it up so it’sliterally my paper is stuck to myrolling pin then I’m just going to putsome more double-sided tape on my pinover here so that way it will stick andall I’m gonna do is roll just like I’mrolling some dough but look how stinkincute that isyou can prop that up against your littleboard like so or place it here we’regonna add a couple other ones but howcute is just that you don’t have to doanything elsejust add some scratch paper scrapbookpaper it to your little rolling pinssuper fun but I wanted to do a couple ofthings with the other two I wanted tochalk on them so I’m using the transferthat’s called homespun tags I did a lotlast nightcreating some tags I don’t have them inhere they’re downstairsactually I use them I hung them on somecandlesticks they’re really cute so ifyou didn’t see that laughs check thatout so this transfer has some littlewords like Hello and gather and home andI thought that would be really cute soI’m gonna do hello and I think I think Imight do I’m gonna do Hello for sure butI’m gonna do this in the lap because Ireally want this to pop and stand out soI’m going to close my chop pay silenceof my gray and white then I need to grabmy black we have so many colors of chalkface you can see some colors back hereso if you like to decorate with color orspringtime so you want to use like somepastel colors we have so many options ofcolors but I’m just going with a naturalneutral color but again you can decoratewith any of thebut any color that we have and you cancheck all those out if you’re interestedin any of this or if you have anyquestions about what I’m using just askthose questions in the comments and Iwill definitely get to you and answerthose questions so I’m simply just goingto lay I’m gonna put it off to the sideand I will and I’ll tell you whyhere in a second so I’m not putting itin the middle of my rolling pin I’mputting it off to the side and I’m justgoing to chalk paste over the word hellowith black again super easy you just themain thing is just you want to make surethat your chalk or that your transfer isflat so that way there’s no air bubblesunderneath and you’ll get a perfectfinish when you peel that up so I’m justscraping off the extra off my transferand then I’m gonna peel it up oh my goshyou guys okayagain just wash that with water but lookhow stinking cute that is hope you guyscan see that well I’m gonna drive itreal quick and you can use a hairdryeryou don’t have to dry this but because Iwant to add something to it I want todry it and don’t want it to smear so letme dry that real quickall right so this is dry again when ourchalk paste is dry it doesn’t rub off tothe touchsince wood is a porous material youprobably won’t be able to wash this offcompletely because the chalk paste willgo into the pores but I think it is justdarling so to add a little touch and totie it in to this see if we can get itto stand so tie it into all this I’mjust gonna add a little ribbon and againwe’re just don’t know thoughtful appliedjust because I wanted to show you justthe different things that you can dowith these transfers and give you ideasto decorate your home or your kitchenthat can be super easy and fun but letmaybe I want a bow to this oneI’m doing the bail a little bitdifferent for this one and then I’mgoing to use that ribbon to tie it inthe middleI was just my teeth it’s probably notthe best idea but that habit I got thewrong oneoh well let me just get another ribbonsorry guysalright here we go again we’re gonna tiethe middle of the bow that’s too funnyalright so we talked hello on it andthen we just have this cute little bowthat we’re also going to just tie onthere I just tie in it and then going tosince it’s long let me see well I thinkI’m just gonna tie the back just makingchanges how’s it go oh my gosh it’s socute look at that little rolling pin wechopped too low on it I can just setthat up there with the other oneshopefully you can see that so that wasthe this transfer with the little hellois the homespun tags and then the onethat says let’s bake cookies also comeswith the transfer that says I love you alatte these are reusable all you have todo is wash them with water and use themover and over again super easy so muchfun to use all you have to do is putyour transfer down make sure it’s flatrub your top paste over it and then peeland you have your design once you pillit up so super fun my kids love doingthis people who aren’t who feel likethey’re not crafty love doing this it’sso much fun alright here we go here’sour next one oh super cute and again ifyou just want to keep on playing or justadd
