How to make perfect Traditional Cross Hatch Peanut Butter Cookies

Recipe for Traditional Peanut Butter Cookies

* ½ cup butter, softened
* ⅓ cup brown sugar, packed
* ½ cup granulated sugar
* ½ cup peanut butter
* 1/4 cup chopped peanuts
* 1/4 cup peanut butter morsels
* 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
* 1 large egg
* 1½ cups all-purpose flour
* ½ teaspoon baking powder
* ½ teaspoon salt

1. Cream butter and sugars together until light and fluffy.
2. Add peanut butter, vanilla, and egg and mix until incorporated.
3. In a separate bowl, mix flour, salt, and baking powder.
4. Add flour mix to peanut butter mix until incorporated.
5. Mix in peanut butter morsels and chopped peanuts.
6. Chill dough for 45 minutes before baking.
7. Use a fork to make a cross hatch design on cookies.
8. Bake at 350F for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
9. Let cool for at-least 10 minutes before moving to cooling rack.
Tip: when making cross hatch design, dip dry fork into sugar before putting on dough.
