This cookie dough is easy and made with few ingredients like delicious chocolate! This recipe makes thin crispy cookies: the edges are slightly crispy but the centre is slightly soft. You can make around 25-30 medium-sized cookies or even freeze the dough for up to maximum 1 month in a freezer.

Serves 25-30 chocolate chip cookies
Preparation time 15 min + 30 min refrigerate
Cooking time 15 min

1) 2 cup Flour
2) 1/3 cup white granulated sugar
3) 3/4 cup brown sugar
4) 100-gram butter at room temperature
5) 1 tsp baking powder
6) 1/2 tsp baking soda
7) 1/4 cup milk at room temperature ( you can also replace with water)
8) 1/8 tsp salt or a pinch of salt

In a big bowl, mix butter and sugar together.
Whisk them well to form a cream, add milk in between tsp by tsp and not all at once.
Microwave for 10 seconds if required.

In a separate bowl, sieve flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
Add the dry mixture in the wet ingredients.
Mix them together so that dry and wet ingredients are fully incorporated. Do not over mix or whisk at high speed that produces heat and changes the texture of cookies.
Refrigerate the cookie dough mixture for 30 min.
In the meanwhile, preheat the oven at 180 oC with both heating sides on.
Grease baking paper with butter and place on the baking tray (Not rack).
take the cookie dough out of the fridge, and to make uniform cookies use 1 Tbsp and place them on the baking tray.
Make sure there is enough spacing between the dough on the tray.
Do not use your hands to make a cookie ball.
cook for 15 minutes or until cookie has a uniform golden colour at 180 oC.
Place chocolate cookies on the rack to cool.
Serve with milk and enjoy with your children.
