🥫Stuff In Our Cupboard Candi Sugar Choc Chip Cookies Keep Calm – Bake On!
Welcome Friends! Since we are all under quarantine, lockdown, or social distancing, depending on where you are; we thought we’d do some experimental recipes and cooking to take our minds off the pandemic. Today I’m playing with Candi sugar and chocolate chip cookie recipes.
125g dark brown sugar
285g candi sugar ( https://youtu.be/EMMDnrFWPII )
5 mL (1 tsp) vanilla extract
325g all purpose flour
30 mL (2 Tbsp) tapioca starch (optional)
12 mL (2½ tsp) coarse salt
5 mL (1 tsp) baking soda
250g semi sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 180ºC (350°F).
Cream together the butter and two sugars until light and fluffy.
In a small bowl mix together the flour, tapioca starch, baking soda, and salt.
Cream in the eggs, one at a time, and then beat in the vanilla.
Mix in flour mixture until it forms a smooth dough.
Mix in the chocolate chips.
Scoop the cookie dough onto a cookie sheet and bake 15-18 minutes – or until cooked.
I would suggest using parchment paper – as these may stick to your baking sheet.
