Learn how to make this easy beginner friendly campfire recipe. You can’t go wrong with this buttery campfire garlic bread recipe. It’s such a staple on most of my camping trips!
Ingredients:
– Flaky biscuits
– Minced garlic
– Butter
– Italian seasoning
– Parsley (for decor 😉
Tools/gear:
– Campfire
– Knife
– Tongs
– Oven mittens
– Cast iron anything with a lid
Directions:
1) Create your fire, preferably a log cabin but I just “made a fire” as you can tell by the video lol.
2) Prep your biscuits by spreading butter and adding Italian seasoning + garlic both on the inside and out.
3) Place your biscuits in your cast iron and cover with a lid.
4) Gently place your cast iron in the center of the heat – don’t forget to place hot coals on top so that your garlic bread cooks evenly.
5) Chill out for about 6-12 mins (use your best judgement on this depending on the size of your cast iron). I let mine cook for 6 mins because I only used 2 biscuits.
6) Take it out of the fire – saturate it in butter – sprinkle some parsley.
Take a pic and ENJOY!
