Apple Bread| Simple And Healthy Baking

Ingredients:

Wheat flour – 2 cups
Almonds – 1/2 cup
Jaggery – 1/2 cup
Cooking oil – 1 cup
Baking powder – 1 tsp
Cinnamon powder – 1/4 tsp
Mixed seeds – 1 tbsp (optional)
Apple – 1
Vanilla essence- 5 drops

Method :

De skin the Apple and cut them into chunks. Grind Apple, Almonds and half cup of milk together to get a fine paste.

Mix all the dry ingredients together along with jaggery. Add oil and almond paste into a mixing bowl and give it a good mix.
Then add the dry ingredients and vanilla essence to it.

If the batter is thick ,add milk to get a running consistency. The batter should look like a cake batter. Finally add the seeds and mix well.

Grease and dust a bread tin. Line the bottom of the tin with baking sheet.
Transfer the batter into the bread tin and tap it a couple of times.

Bake the bread till it’s done. When you prick a toothpick in the centre it should come out clean.
