Potato – 1 big, boiledFor the spices, we need Turmeric powder, Chilly powder, Coriander powder, Garam masala and pepper powder (optional)to prepare the masala, heat a pan and add oiladd onion, ginger, curry leaves and green chillysaute until the onions softenAdd ¼ tbsp turmeric powder and sauté until the raw smell goes awayAdd 1 tbsp coriander powder and sauté until the raw smell goes awayAdd ¼ tbsp chilly powder (or as per your taste) and sauté until the raw smell goes awayadd chopped tomatoClose the lid and cook the tomatoes till soft and mushy on a low flamepeel the boiled potato meanwhile, while it’s still hotAdd 1/4 tsp garam masala to taste.. Add little first, taste the curry and add more if required..add salt to tasteturn off the flame and let it cool downcut boiled egg into halfmake a thin batter of plain flour and water in the same consistency as dosa batter and set asidetake 2 slices of bread and flatten with a rolling pinthinly slice a piece from the boiled potato and place it on the breadplace the prepared masala on top of the potato slice as shown in the videonext, place half of an egg and gently pressclose with the other slice of the bread and press gentlyusing a round cap of any utensil, press on the bread and cut it round to seal the edges and to remove the excess bread from all the sidesnow, spread the plain flour mixture all over the snack and roll the snack in bread crumbsuse plain flour paste to stick any open edges..add the snack in oil to deep fry until golden on both sidesfry until golden on both sides and transfer to a serving plate..
