last year I baked a toast bread and Iposted about it on Facebook so peoplestarted asking can you show us how to dothat and I promise to do it it’s been awhile I didn’t forget so today’s the daywhere I show you how I bake toast breadthe ingredients that you will need are500 grams of flour have a tablespoon ofvinegar 1/2 a tablespoon of honey 40grams of butter an egg yolk 15 grams ofmalt and in case you don’t know what itis I’m using this product I will put alink below this video so you can find iton Amazonyou also need 10 grams of salt a packageof active dry yeast and 300 millilitersof lukewarm milk preparing the dough ispretty simple so I first put in theflour and the butterthe mold is a little bit bots on the eggyolk then the yeast 1/2 a tablespoon offthe vinegar and half a tablespoon ofhoney[Music]and then I’m adding the milk and I waita little bit before I add the salt thereare actually I didn’t know that thereare recipes where you mix the salt withthe yeast that is the differenttechnique that I haven’t tried it but Iwill definitely soon buy that one butfor now I will stick to the techniquethat I’m usually using and avoid to getthe the yeast and the salt in contact I[Applause]will need this for a few minutes andthen I will add the salt[Applause][Music]yes and now I will let this knead for 10minutes alright let’s take a look at thedoughyeah it’s it’s elastic but I’m notsatisfied yet I will need it for a fewmore minutes just to make sure it hasthe necessary elasticity okay it hasbecome nice and so very very smooth verynice so what I’m doing now is I cut thedough in half I met her and then I willfold it to the top turn it fold it tothe top turn it and I just keep doingthis for a little bit you know thisprobably from my other bread recipesokayokayand there needs to be a little bit oftension in this dough that is created bythis technique you can see this heresame hereokay and all I need to do now is I rollthis and my baking pans are a little bitlarger than they’re supposed to behowever that’s what I have they arespecial toast bread baking pans and theyhave a lid which is necessary for thiskind of bread however I found adifferent solution for me because Ialready have like four or five bakingpans and I don’t feel like I needanymoreso I’m doing a little bit different butknow that there are certain baking pansfor toast bread I will put a link belowthe video so you can find that howeverfor what I have right now I am usingwhat I have and I put these in here andalso into the other baking pan as I saidthey are a little bit too large butI think I’m fine with that so I press ita little bit in here so it goes into thecorners press it a little bit down thesmaller baking pans would be a lothigher all right and now I will coverthis and let it rest and rise for onehouryes oh look at this the dough has morethan doubled its size it’s very verynice and kind of fluffy and I will bakethis now I preheated the oven to 410degree Fahrenheit which is 250 degreesCelsius and I will bake it at thattemperature for 10 minutes and then Iwill lower the temperature to 410 degreeFahrenheit which is 210 degrees Celsiussince my baking pans do not have the lidthat the original toast bread bakingpans have have so this is what I’m doingthis is my little trick I use a regularbaking sheet and put it on top when Iafter I put the pans into the oven andjust to make sure that this doesn’t popup I will put something heavy on it likethese stones that I usually use when I’mbaking bread to make it crisp which inthis case I don’t need to do so I’musing these two things just to make acover on top of my baking pans and thatworks just as fine as the little moreexpensive toast bread baking pans afterbaking this bread last night I let itcool completely and then put it in aplastic bag overnight so it’s morningnow time for breakfast and what’s betterfor breakfast than toast let’s see howthis has turned outso here you can see it is very nice andfine and I will cut it when I slice ortwo to put into the toaster and there itis my delicious fresh toast I will enjoythis now with some of my homemade orangemarmalade or jammed and this is afantastic breakfast just as I like itand it’s a little less German today it’sa little more British maybe mmm that wasreally good so if you like this videoplease give me a thumbs up and wait forthe next video that is coming up in amoment[Music]you[Music]you
