I have absolutely no baking skills, my wife once banned me from the kitchen for 2 months because I started multiple fires AND forgot to add flour to chocolate chip cookies. Well now, I have decided that I am going to teach myself how to bake! I will be trying to replicate a Pre-heat or Main-heat challenge from the Food Networks Holiday Baking Championship. From pie to pate a choux and everything in between I am going to try and bake it!
The Holiday Baking Championship was a great success!! I enjoyed it so much I decided I was going to continue baking! So now I will be replicating the Big Bake from Kids Baking Championship!
This week the big bake challenge was to create an Italian Rainbow Cookie. I did not replicate a contestant this week, so my filling is raspberry and apricot jam with some dried apricots in between the layers.
