[Music][Laughter][Music][Applause][Music][Music][Music]so welcome back everybody I’ve gotsomething just a little bit differenttoday I’m sure it’ll be a fairly quickshort video but a friend of mine thattexted me and said that she needed somedecorative cross-sections of logs forsome decorative I don’t even know whatyou would call them some decorative notplacemats but I don’t know that she’sgonna put them on a table for a weddingthat she’s helping organize so I saidokay well I can probably find yousomething and we’ve got some pieces ofthat sour wood log that we cut up a fewmonths ago and I think that makes himpretty nice cookies they’ve been layingaround for awhile and I was thinkingthey would be much drier than they areunfortunately they’re not I hope thatthe bark holds up I hope that it’s stillstill fairly well attached I’m sure thatit could probably glued back togetherbut anyway today we’re going to makecookies with a sawmill[Music][Music][Music][Music][Music][Music][Music][Music]so let’s see what we’ve got here Ididn’t want to go any lower because Iwas concerned that I was going to hitthe screws that I put in there I justwasn’t 100% sure how low I could getaway with there I probably could havedone nothing but it wasn’t really worththe risk so he only needed she onlyneeded 10 this gives her 12 so she’llhave a couple of spares these areactually there’s somewhat dry I guess Ithink they’ve just I think they’ve justkind of been wet by the rain sohopefully they’ll dry out okay but yeahI think these are going to do exactlywhat exactly what she needs so let’s getthese let’s get these bases off of hereand stretch them out and see what we gotso I should have seen this coming thatuh with her screws at least this screwis basically just burying itself inunder the bark and I still want to sawthe rest of this pine can’t right hereso I’ve got to save I got to get thescrews out of it oh my god buried thatone look at that there it is[Applause]this is something else that I probablyshould have seen coming you know seethat chip right there I hit one of thescrews with my ax and it can be filedout but still that’s kind of a kind of abummer so guys that’s all I’ve got forthis video pretty quick and simplethat’s how you make cookies with asawmill and I think these turned outreally nice I think these will serve thepurpose that she needs just just fine soyou know that was that was good that wewere able to use some of that sour woodthat would have otherwise been wasted sothank y’all for watching and I will seey’all next time I’m sure that they willtake these and sand them down prettygood making a little bit smoother andmaybe polyurethane I’m not really surewhat their plans are for them but Ithink they look really nice on thetables and I think they turned outreally good it’s possible that these aregonna dry a little bit in the middle andthe bark might pull away but hopefullythat won’t happen so bad or hopefullyit’ll happen after the wedding so thatthey can get through the wedding withoutthat happening well just that’s justkind of yet to be seen but anyway it wasgreat that we were able to save some ofthis wood from rotting and the wholemore of the tree has been put to use sothat’s really that’s really encouragingthat that we didn’t waste didn’t waste awhole lot of wood here but that’s all Igot for this video thank you all forwatching and hope y’all enjoyed it hitthat like button before you get out ofhere and I will see you all next time
