hey hey hey welcome back to my channelif you guys are new here my name isCarrie and I am an asthma certifiedpersonal trainer and in new mama – abeautiful three-month-old baby boy namedAiden this is my 2019 holiday blog andit’s baby’s first Christmas so I’d liketo invite you to come home with me andcelebrate with us as I prep for theholiday do a ton of baking and as weopen presents and celebrate just put some biscotti in theoven I’ve never made it before as I hopeit comes out good I also plan on makingsome crinkle cookies later on but I’mgonna feed this little guy and thenabout 18 minutes I’m gonna take thebiscotti out let them cool and thenslice them up[Music]just become kind of our little morningroutine Aiden will nurse and I’ll watchmatch game which I love watching matchgame because it reminds me of when I waslittle girl and I’d go to my grandma’shouse we’d watch match game and we’dwatch The Price is Right I just watcheda ton of game show network so I just Idon’t know it’s very relaxing in themorning I guess you look pretty goodactually I’ve never made this before solet’s see they’re firm firm Wow theylook so good so far I’m not much of abaker but I’m so proud of myself cuzhe’s smells so good I’m gonna grab himand then slice these up you happy herenow all rightjust brought him in the kitchen with mebecause I have more cookies to bake butI’m waiting for these to cool completelybefore I slice them up and I think I’mgonna get started on my chocolatecrinkle cookies that’ll be next Ialready have a bit of a mess going herebut that’s what baking is for Christmasmessy I picked up some last-minutecrafts yesterday why these look betteron camera than they do in person thisone in particular is a little not reallydeep enough but I picked up some modelmagic yesterday and it’s just startingto firm up a little bit so this one’sJulie and obviously and these are allEden so I figured I would make like alittle keepsake for ourselves and forthe grandparents to hang on the treesince it’s Aidan’s first Christmas Ithink though I’m gonna add somewatercolor paint around the outsides orsomething to jazz them up a little bitsince it was really hard for me to get agood impressionthe modeling clay it’s a good thing I’mlooking at this recipe right now becauseit needs to be refrigerated for twohours before baking so I get so nervouswhen I bake you guys I’m not good atthis stuffor maybe I’m a bad at it it’s just veryI like to rush through reading thedirections I want to get it done I’m soexcitedso yeah I’m overthinking this I’m justgonna jump right into it[Music][Music]Oh bacon chocolatey it’s not like acookie dough though yet this is whythese refrigerated unassuming but it’slike a really sweet thick brownie batterfeelings so I feel like these cookiesare gonna be really key[Music]I successfully got but it’s got II backin the oven for 10 minutes and made themixture for the crinkle cookies and thatis chillin in the fridge for 2 hours andclearly someone could not even handlethe excitement of it all looking at thebiscotti recipe right now and it saysservings 45 cookies I thought maybe likemaybe two dozen what the hell we get 45cookies those too long as a cookie Idon’t know maybe I didn’t shave themright but I did my best it’s my firsttry some Scotties are done i think iwant to make a second batch of thembecause I did not get 45 I got one t ifyou count the ends and not reallycounting the ends the ends and set asidefor me for coffee right now and for myhusband when he gets home so you cantaste us them but I do plan on giftingsome of them and bringing some of themto Christmas Eve so I definitely needmore biscotti and we’ll see how manypink I’m gonna get about two dozen ofthe chocolate cookies and I have 50peanut butter balls that I need to dipin chocolate I made those last nightahead of time so yeah we’re doing goodmore baking than you even thought youneeded in a vlog but that’s what’s goingon around hereand get a jump on clean any kitchensince he’s still snoozing behind mewhich is amazing it is so nice outliterally out here in a t-shirt it’s 51degrees I am not used to of being 51degrees out on Christmas it is like warmI just went out there and a t-shirt andin my bare feet and it was not cold it’scrazy it kind of makes me a little sadthough because I loved having a whiteChristmas as a kid and we usually onChristmas Eve would get so much snowthat it would be scary driving home fromwherever we were having Christmas Evedinner or whatever so it’s just sodifferent and we’re not even that faraway from where I grew up it’s onlyabout a three-hour drive but the weatherhere is completely different than whereI grew upI’ve had it some watercolor paint to themodel magic impressions that I made andespecially like this one and this onethey came out pretty good that is whatthey look like all done there okay Imean it’s hard to get a three-month-oldto open may open his hand and push butyeah it was it was not an easy task sothe fact that we even gotten this muchis pretty great back in Biscotti’srolling-over hereI started weighing them out because Ithink I was making them too small what afeeling now it’s time for Christmas andChristmas is my favorite time of yearit’s beginning to look like all mywishes are coming true that’s why Icheermorning it’s Christmas Eve we were offto a little bit of a shaky start thismorning because even has been reallyreally really fussy and gassy today andI’m kind of worried that it might besomething like that I’m taking orsomething that I’m doing that’s you knowmaking it that way for him but wefinally feel a little bit better and I’mjust halfway ready for the day not fullyready we are heading over to my in-lawshouse around four o’clock my husband’sstill out running some errands we had topick up like a cake and things like thatso I have a couple gifts left to wrapstill and then we are ready to go andthen this little guy has to get anoutfit change but I’m not putting him init until before we were ready to leavebecause I don’t want any accidents Iwanted to actually be able to wear ittoday best story and my parents arecoming in tonight which will be verynice try to put thatit was the night before Christmas boysclosing down forbidden in mypresent shine when the bedthe door jingleonce more and then time almost came tostart but somehow I know and maybesaudadebut everything would changed from nowyesmy son[Music][Music][Applause][Music]edan it’s Christmas Merry ChristmasOh making our Christmas memories I’vebeen working so much latelyI can barely find the time to sleep yesma’am my time when I found keepingpeople please but this is my favoriteholiday it’s a chance I missed you soI’m letting go of everything but yourthese are
