Making homemade Waffles has never been easier! These Waffles are soft and chewy in the inside and crispy on the outside!
This is how to make Basic Waffles:
Yield: 14- 16 Medium Waffles
Ingredients:
6 Eggs
250 g Sugar/ 1 cup
2 Tbsp Vanilla Sugar or 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
250 g Margarine, softened
2 tsp Baking Powder
500 g Whole Wheat Flour or All-Purpose Flour/ 2 1/4 cups
500 ml Milk/ 2 cups
1/2 tsp Salt
1-2 Tbsp melted Butter for brushing waffle iron
Directions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, add eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar. Beat on medium high speed until pale and fluffy.
2. Add in softened margarine and continue beating until everything is combined.
3. Add in baking powder, flour, milk and salt. Beat until everything is well incorporated.
4. Brush hot waffle iron with melted butter and add about 1/3 cup of the waffle mixture. Let cook until golden brown
