Ingredients:
– Flour – 400 g
– 2 egg yolks
– Sour cream – 250 g
– Butter – 150 g
– Baking powder – 2 tsp
– Salt – 1/4 tsp
– Vanilla sugar – 1 tsp
– Sugar – 2 tsp
– Cane sugar – 100 g
– Walnuts – 150 g
Preparation:
* in a large bowl mix melted butter, sour cream, 2 egg yolks, salt, sugar and vanilla sugar;
* then add flour and baking powder and knead until smooth and elastic;
* cover the dough with plastic wrap and leave for about 15 min;
* blend the walnuts and mix them with cane sugar;
* now let’s get back to the dough. Flour it a little bit and roll until very thin;
* cut the edges to make a perfect rectangle;
* and sprinkle the dough with the mixture of walnuts and cane sugar;
* roll up the dough and cut into the equal pieces;
* and form little roses;
* bake in fully preheated oven at 180˚C for 15-20 minutes.
