3/4 cup sugar (150 g)
1/2 cup brown sugar (106 g)
1/2 cup unsalted butter (113 g)
1/2 cup vegetable or canola oil (4 oz)
1 egg
1 cup pumpkin purée (8 oz)
1 teaspoon vanilla (5 g)
2 1/4 cups flour (270 g)
1 teaspoon baking soda (5 g)
1/2 teaspoon salt (2.5 g)
1 teaspoon cinnamon (5 g)
1/2 teaspoon each of ground ginger and cloves (2-3 g each)
1 cup chocolate chips (8 oz) optional
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (8 oz) optional
Bake 350° (177° C) for 8-11 minutes
