Ingredients:
Yeast- 2 tsp
Sugar – 3 tsp
Water- ¾ Cup
Maida- 3 Cups
Salt- ¼ Cup
Butter- ¼ Cup
Method:
1. In a Bowl , add ½ Cup Warm Water,sugar, yeast and mix well.
2. Rest for 15 minutes until the Yeast gets activated.
3. In a Mixing Bowl, add Maida, Salt, Butter. Mix well with hands.
4. Now add the Yeast Mixture and mix well.
5. Add ¼ cup water, ½ cup Milk.
6. Dough will be sticky,Knead it for 15 – 20 Minutes to form a soft dough.
7. Soft dough is formed , apply oil and rest it for 1.5 hrs to 2 hrs
8. After 2 hours, batter has risen up.
9. Give a Punch to release the air and knead again for 5 minutes
10. Now pat on the floor to form a square shape
11. Roll it tightly and close all the gaps, If any gap found, bread will have a big holebread will have a big hole in the middle.
12. Grease Oil in the bread mould, place the dough inside the mould and rest it for 30 Minutes.
13. Apply oil to prevent dryness.
14. After the resting time, the dough has risen up.
15. Apply milk on the top before baking.
16. Now the dough is ready to bake.
17. Heat a heavy bottom kadai with a plate /stand/sand/salt
18. Close it and heat it in medium flame for 10 minutes before baking
19. Place the dough in the kadai now.
20. Close it and bake for 30 – 40 Minutes
21. After baking, apply butter on the top of the bread
22. Demould the baked bread
23. Cover it with wet cotton cloth so that the bread will be soft
24. Rest till it cools down
25. Remove the cotton cloth after the resting time
“Milk Bread” is ready now
