This recipe will give you FLUFFY whole wheat pancakes! It’s one of many breakfast pancake ideas you can use to start your day off well. This recipe uses equal parts of whole wheat flour and white flour. If you’re looking for 100% whole wheat flour pancakes, then omit the white flour. These are easy whole wheat pancakes that your friends and family will love.
Ingredients:
1 1/4 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/4 cup regular flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
4 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 1/2 cups sour milk
Mix all ingredients into a large bowl.
For sour milk mix a splash of vinegar with your whole milk.
Cook batter on a large pan (or griddle) using some oil to keep pancakes from sticking.
Top with chocolate chips or blueberries for an added treat!
