Waffles – How to Make Them Vegan

Welcome back to my channel – Chatting with Chops. My name is Karen and I make fun and entertaining videos that might teach you something too.

I took a regular waffle recipe and modified it to be vegan and even healthier than before.

Usually makes 12 to 14 individual squares, however if you put more liquid you could probably make more.

Ingredients
2 cups all purpose flour
½ cup wheat flour
4 tsp baking powder
3 tsp Stevia in the raw zero sweetener
1 individual cup unsweetened applesauce
2 ½ cup almond milk
Mix wet ingredients in one bowl and then mix dry ingredients in a separate bowl. Combine both bowls together. Remember it doesn’t need to be mixed all the way otherwise your waffles will come out tough. Cook in waffle iron until desired crispiness. Take out and put on a cooling rack.

These waffles freeze really well to pop in the toaster whenever you want a quick breakfast

Waffle iron is at least 10 or 15 years old
