If you want your waffles to be crisp on the outside, tender inside, and with just the right amount of sweetness, try this recipe. I used Almond Milk but you can substitute any milk, dairy or non-dairy. I make these every other weekend cause my kids love them so much.

4 tablespoons butter
2 cups almond milk
2 eggs – separated
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
4 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
Optional:
I added 1/2 tsp of cinnamon and 1/2 tsp of almond extract to mine.
