PEACH PIE CAKE RECIPE | Easy Bake with Me Cake

[Music]so[Music][Applause][Music]welcome back everyone to catherine’splates i’m super excited today to showyou how to make aneasy peach pie cakeand when i say easy you’re not going tobelieve this one and when you see how itturns outyou’re going to want to make your owny’all it’s going to be great to take tobarbecues togatherings just make one for yourselfthat’s how delicious it is okay it’salways great to have friends aroundbecause they can inspire youto make things like this and this onegoes out totonya okay tonya if you’re watchingcheck this one out all right guyslet’s get started okay guys so to getstarted onthe cake part of our dessertwe’re going to be using a cake mix boxhere and i’m using theyellow cake mix here now if you want tomake ahomemade cake batter you can certainlydo that that is totally fine but if youwant to save some time you can usecake mix from a box and i would stronglysuggest that you use theyellow cake mix here okay to get startedwe’re going to addthese ingredients to our large bowlokay one cake mix now this is a 15.25ouncesize box that i’m usingokay and you can use any brand that youwould likeokay i’m going to add one stick ofbutter which ishalf a cup now i’ve melted this in themicrowaveor you can use half a cup ofvegetable oil i like to use the butterbecause it just gives it a better flavorand it makes it a little bit morefluffier i’ve got one cup of waterand three eggs here i’m gonna crack eachone into a bowl and put that into mylarge bowl herejust to make sure there’s no shells oranything else funny in therethat we don’t want to be fishing out ofour cake mix[Music]okay now what we’re going to do is we’regoing to mix up everything in our largebowl here i’m using an electric handmixer and i’m going to beat this forabout two minutes on medium speed youcan also use like a wooden spoon butjust keepmixing it until you get a nice smooth[Music]batter[Music]okay we’re gonna go ahead now and startpreparing our panokay so i have a 9 by 13 baking dishthat’s what we’re going to be workingwithokay so i’m going to be using somebaker’s joy andthis is just cooking spray that has someflour in it and that will help releasethe cake from your dishi’m just going to lightly spray itall right i’m going to go ahead now andplace my batter into my baking dishnow at this time you want to go aheadand preheat your ovento 350 degrees[Music]just smooth it outokay guys i use cake mix boxes for a lotof different dessertsand i will link them down belowand you can see the many different waysthat you can use cake mixboxes if you want a fastand easy dessert that’s really deliciousy’all it doesn’t matter it doesn’t haveto be so smooth okayhere’s how we’re gonna make it a pie ihave some peachpie filling here we’re gonna open it upokay if y’all can see those peaches inthere look how delicious those looki’m gonna take everything out of thiscan and i’m gonna smooth it overthe top of my cake mix hereso just lay your peaches across yourcake herenow i’m using one can of peaches herethis is a 21 ounce size cannow if you want to make your own piefilling you certainly canand can you imagine the differentflavors that you can use with thisyou can do a chocolate cake mix and thenput cherries on iti did a cheesecake a strawberrycheesecake dump cakeand i had so many comments on differentflavorsand one of them was definitely chocolatewithcherry so if you have cherry pie fillingand you have a chocolate cakeguys there is anotherwhole dessert sitting right therenow you’re not going to mix this intothe cake batterokay we’re not doing that we’re going tolay these right on topso the cake batter here is kind of likethe pie crustand a cakeall in the same dessert look how prettythis looksput some of that pie fillingover the cake here oh my goshdo you want to be my neighbori live in southeast texas and right nowit’s99 degrees with a real feel of 108i believe right now so yeah i’m insidemaking a cakeokay southeast texas yes tell me whatthe weather is like where you’re at ifyou’re ready to make apeach pie cake like this hereokay guys i’m ready to put my peach piecake inthe oven and now i’m going to be bakingthis per the instructions on theback of the box so for a 9 by 13it’s going to cook for about 28 to 33minutesi’m going to stick a toothpick in it andmake sure that the cake part of thiscomes out clean or has some dry crumbson it and that’s totally finei’m going to pull it out of the ovenwe’re going to rest it for10 minutes just to kind of solidifyeverythingand then i’m going to show you what i’mgoing to do next[Music]okay guys i’ve just pulled this out ofthe oven i put a toothpick in it and itcame out cleanon the cake side of this so i am goingto allow this to rest for about 10to 15 minutesthis is powdered sugar[Music]okay it’s definitely screaming summer onthis one herey’all let your cake mix be your crustfor this piehowever you want to call it peach piecake what flavor are you makinglet me
