[Music]hi babes Oh welcome to my channel orwelcome back to my channel or welcomeback to my kitchentoday I’m bringing you another one of myabsolute favorite recipes and thathappens to be pancakes we all knowpancakes are number one delicious butalso pretty high in calories and theydon’t really have protein except theseprotein pancakes are right over here soif you are interested in seeing how Imake my absolute favorite yummy homemadeprotein pancakes then just keep watchingokay babe so let me start off by showingyou what I will be using to make myhomemade protein at pancakes so handsdown these are my favorite I purchasedthis at Costco they are the Kodiak cakesthey’re really high in protein so Iabsolutely love that I will also betopping it with a banana I really lovethis peanut butter powder PB to powder Ifound this I believe at Costco orWalmart and I’m going to make my ownpeanut butter because this one is waylower in calories you can have twotablespoons for only 50 calories versusregular peanut butter which is way morecalories I have my sugar-free pancakesyrup which I will be mixing with mypeanut butter to make it very yummyI just need water to add to my pancakesI’m gonna spray my pan with some extraolive oil let’s get it poppin okaybabies so when it comes to our Kodiakcakes these are gonna call for a 1/2 ofa cup which is a serving size for only190 calories this is also going to giveus a 14 grams of protein as you can seeon here so I have my half a cupmeasuring cup right here let’s go aheadportion that out and put it into our bigmeasuring cup so now we have about 1/2of a cup serving size so we’ll put thaton in here so now that we have ourKodiak cake mix in here we just need toadd water it says for a 1/2 of a cup ofpowder we’re going to doa cup of water so now that we have ourwater measured out we’re just gonna tossthat on in here you can also play aroundwith how much water you put in I knoweveryone prefers different pancakes somepeople like theirs to be very thin somepeople like it to be thick so I’m gonnago ahead and mix this up see what theconsistency is like and then if anythingI can add more water okay so tell metell me why this is so water in this isa little too watery for me so I’m justgonna add like literally a dash more ofthe protein powder to make it a littlebit thicker because I do like mypancakes to be a little bit thicker thanthis consistency so I’m literally justgoing to sprinkle a tiny bit back intohere like literally a tiny bit there wego mix that up perfect there we go so weonly needed a tiny bit more so now youcan tell that this consistency is a lotthicker than what I had previous keepstirring it steer steer steer now thatwe have our pancake batter ready to golet’s go aheadpre-heat our pan I like to preheat it ona medium heat and then we just need toadd some olive oil spray when it comesto cooking I love using my extra virginolive oil spray I like to use thisbecause it is zero calories so I’m justgonna go ahead and coat my pan there wego let that warm up and then we will goahead and put our pancakes on the pannow that our pan is nice and warm I liketo just hover my hand over making surethe pan is ready for the pancakes I feellike they just cook better that waylet’s go ahead and pour this baby in yeshoneyso while we wait for our pancake to cookI’m going to show you guys how I make myhomemade peanut butter using a PB topowderand sugar-free syrup I really like thiscombo together I think it tastes a lotbetter than just adding water plus whenit comes to the sugar-free syrup it’svery very low in calories you can havetwo tablespoons for only ten calories solet’s get started on our peanut butterbut when it comes to making your ownpeanut butter you can make it as thickas you want it or as watery as you wantit by basically either adding more orless syrup I do like mine to be prettywatery because I like to basically soakmy pancakes in this type of like a syrupI call it my like peanut butter syrup soI’m gonna show you how I make mine so aserving size calls for two tablespoonsfor only 50 calories I don’t think Ineed that much peanut butter today sowe’re gonna do half of that so put thatin here I like to measure everything outthat way it’s a little bit easier tokeep track of my calories and let’s goahead with some sugar-free syrupremember two of these is one servingsizeso this is what it should look like youhave your PV to powder you have yoursyrup go ahead and mix that on up andthen we’ll be able to see what theconsistency looks like okay so it’slooking pretty watery which I like Ithink I might do a half of a servingsize to make it a little bit more wateryonly because I like to use this asbasically my syrup on my pancakes andthen I won’t need to use any more syrupso let’s go ahead and check on ourpancake our pancake is looking beautifullet’s see oh yeah oh yeah me sizzle okaycutie how are you okay so I flipped mypancake now I’m back to my syrup this islooking really good so I have about 15calories of syrup in here and since Idid a half of a servant only 25 fromthis so really low calorie not bad andlook how watery this is so I’m literallygonna drizzle this all over my pancakesand this is gonna act like my syrup andmy peanut butter all in one saving hellacalories but still satisfying bothcravings okay so we have a one beautifulpancake done now it’s time to makepancake and number two so what I like todo because I feel like the oil getsburned is I take a napkin really quickyeah that’s disgusting and kind of cleanthis out before I move on to pancakenumber two I am gonna get my extravirgin olive oil and spray a little bitmore real quick and then real quickwe’re gonna throw that pancake back inthere and this one’s gonna cook reallyfast my pan is already very hot I’mgonna make sure I get all of my batterbecause this will be my last pancakewant to make sure I’m getting all myfood perfect that looks good I wish youguys could smell this it smells so goodpancake number two is ready to beflipped it’s a littleum pancake number two is all done and alooking beautifultime to smother these babies and PB topowder and bananas okay so the lastthing we need to do is now weigh out howmany grams of banana I’m going to beusing on our food scale so let’s goahead and do that so I’m not sure if youguys could see but it is already set tograms all I need to do is add my bananato this and it looks like we have 126grams of banana that we will be usingnow that we have our banana cut up andon top of our pancakes all we have toadd is our peanut butter syrup that wemade a little bit earlier and they mixthis up guys this looks so good I’m soexcited about this and then we’re justgoing to go ahead and drizzle this allon topbomb and just like that babes here areour protein pancakes made from home I’mgoing to pop up the MyFitnessPal rightnow so that way you can see thebreakdown of how many grams of proteinare in here as well as the calorie countfor exactly the portions I use today ifyou like this video please be sure togive it a thumbs up so I know to bringyou more videos like this comment downbelow if you enjoyed this video or ifyou’re trying to make
