[Music]today in the love lab we are makingeverything stuffed waffles these wafflesare gonna be stuffed with bacon and eggsand cheese and I know it sounds like alot but trust me amazing you don’t wantto miss it let’s get in the kitchen andlet’s cook okay guys so this recipe hasa couple of different ingredients cuz wegot a couple different things going onokay so we’re going to start with ourbacon and eggs so over here I’ve gotsome bacon that’s cut up now I took ashort cut today you guys I actuallybought the pre cooked baconyeah now usually you know I’m alwayssaying cook your own and I like to cookmy own but every now and then you needthis little shortcut and I got somepretty cooked bacon so what I do is Ichop it up and then put it in theskillet with a little bit of oil orbutter or something just to kind of helpit go and brown it up a little bit okayafter that we’re going to scramble someeggs or fry scramble eggs I’m gonna cookwhat we’re here moment oh okay we’ve gotthat and then the cheese is well isgonna go with those okay that’s thatpiece of this recipe now over here forthe waffles we’re gonna have someall-purpose flour some sugar some meltedbutter eggs vanilla baking powder bakingsoda and buttermilk and this is the kindof buttermilk I tell you guys about whatyou can make yourself right so this issome milk I’ve taken and I’ve added somevinegar to it and let it sit and you seehow it starts to curdle that’s what youwant that’s all you needso first things first I’m going to getthis bacon going so they can render isomnice a little bit of fat here and get alittle bit little done look that we likeon makinghave little butter in there too thenwe’re gonna take that out and get oureggs going as well okay now while thoseare cooking up you guys I’m so excited Ilove theseokay back I’m back yo now let’s keepgoing on our waffles while that’shappening so here we go this this recipeis also adapted from my cookbook sothere’s a recipe in my cookbook forchocolate waffles that gives you thesame basic idea so grab the cookbook andyou’ll get a chance to see really howyou make waffles okay I throw it outthere all right here we go starting withour all-purpose flour and to that we’regoing to add a little bit of baking sodaand baking powder give it a little risethe baking powder gives it rise we’regonna add some sugar okay because wewant these to be good just a little bitsweet as my baby says my little boy usedto say a little bit all right what’sthat together just add a dash of salt tothat the salt just brings out the flavorwhatever you’re cooking here we go allright now those are our dry ingredientsnow for our wet ingredients I’m gonnamix them all together here in thismixing Cup and then add them into mydish okay so to my buttermilk mixtureI’m going to lightly beat two eggs okayand I’m going to add two tablespoons ofmelted butter a little bit of fat willdo some amazing things with the textureof our waffles and a little bit ofanother kissalright alright we’re almost there guyslook at that see how this bacon iscoming together so all I did again youdon’t have to use pre-cooked bacon buteverybody needs a little shortcut youknow I’m saying you want to doeverything all the time you can doeverything most of the time but not allthe time unless you get it going with alittle fry like this you know little fatnever come along it’ll be finecheat on it okay I’m gonna put that inherenow we’re gonna take our eggs keep themgoing in here just a few I’m gonna gooverboard with this because we’re nottry when I just make a scrambled eggsyou know we’re putting everythingtogether I’m just gonna crack themstraight in here put them straight in mygrandma used to cook her eggs like thisI always like this just like so it’sgoing and while that’s doing that butalso just a little bit of salt in herewith these okay put a cement of thisfresh ground pepperI used to level my grandmaI don’t know it makes me feel like she’shere thinking like we’re just like I’min the kitchen with granny and she’smaking me some eggs it makes my day allright here we goso you just cook them up just a littlebit you don’t need a ton this is just 3eggs salt pepper boom all right and wecook them in that bacon fat that wasrendered from our pre cooked bacon whichsaved this is that turn the heat off wedon’t burn our hands or anything and I’mgonna put these right in here with thebacon all rightnow let me move this out the way guys sowe don’t have any kitchen problems allrightyand now let’s come back over here herewe go back to our waffle mix okay andwe’re going to add in our wetingredients okay so I’m being cautiousyou guys if I got a lot of hot stuffgoing that’s kicked it right now and thelast thing I need to do is accidentallyburn myself because I’m not payingattention or cuz I think I got it allunder control all right we’re gonna mixup this waffle mix just like so I knowyou’re thinking to yourself please tellme you’re not about to do Lori what Ithink I amalright ready are you ready fam we’regonna take this bacon we’re gonna takethe bacon in the eggswe’re gonna mix them right in with themarshals I know you thinking yeah justtrust me have I led you round the FM noI have it because I love you and Iwouldn’t leave your own okay let’s doyour other promise I promise okayit’s ride with me on this one ride andthen we’re gonna add a little bit ofthis cheddar cheese as well okay becareful not to use that hot iron guyover there don’t over stir it now we’rejust really trying to fold everythingagain okayall right now I have heated my wafflemakerI’ve already got my spray in it andeverything so it’s ready to goI’m telling you guys I know what you’rethinking because the first time I triedthis I’m gonna be honest even though itwas me cooking it I thought the samething what in the world trust I have twosided waffle cuz I have a big familywaffle maker my family’s big is six ofus me my husband my kids and my mom mymom lives nearby and she’s with us a lotof the times this is just the thing thatyou do when you’re blessed enough tohave your mama living here by which I doso I’m always cooking for six so I got ahalf a two sided waffle maker might besome argue up in this kitchen and Idon’t we don’t need that negativity inhere so I just cook enough now I’m gonnalet these finish every time I do this inmy waffle maker you’re wondering why I’mholding it like this and I have allthese answers we tell you why I alwaysstuck the waffle maker to full I alwaystell myself I’m not gonna do it the nexttime and then the next time I startcooking and I do it and I do it becauseit tastes good Matt means your wafflesdo this but isn’t that Caliban we’recookin when you make a little too muchstuff a little too full so that’s thebamboo part not the counter part I loveyou tell that HR that’s better all rightguys look at that is that not a thing ofbeauty it’s hot whoo hot babyhot all rightwe have a number one Oh hit the cheeseand the egg and you can’t really see itall cuz it’s all clipped into the wafflebut oh my god is unbelievably beautifulnothing else well guys now that ourwaffles are out look at how deliciousthat looksI’m gonna dig inoh but it’ll burn my mouthhere look at that see the eggs and thebacon with cheese in there can you seeall of that goodness in there all mixedinto a buttermilk waffle[Music][Music]there’s a
