hey you guys welcome back to life atSarah’s daughter so on my channel todaywhat we’re gonna do is we’re preparingfor the Sabbath as always so we aregoing to make unliving bread I alreadymixed it so in my other video you cansee how to make unleavened bread I’llput the link down in the bottom but whatwe’re doing today we’re gonna makestrawberry glaze unliving bread so Ihave 1/2 cup of water 1/2 cup of brownsugar and a cup of strawberries finelydiced up okay what I’m gonna do withthese 3 is that I’m going to put them inthe pot and I’m gonna glaze it down I’mgonna heat it down glaze it down andthen I’m gonna use a little bit ofcitrus whether that’s orange juice orlemon or lime more so about a littleless than a teaspoon or a teaspoon andI’m also going to add a pinch of saltnow when you’re making the strawberryglaze you want to taste it to make sureit is to your liking before you add itto the cake all my pans back here arealready greased and ready to go theunleavened bread is already mixed andready to go so here we go the next stepis to make the glaze so in my pot I’mjust adding the hot water the 1/2 cup ofsugar and also my strawberries now I’mgoing to keep mixing and mixing andmixing and trying to mash up thestrawberries as much as I possibly canbecause again we want a glaze in the potin order for us to be able to put itwith the unleavened bread so I’m gonnalet this heat up and let it caramelizetogether and everything and about 1/2way through I have it on medium to lowheat my fire if you have like numbers onyourfire you can put it’s about a six oreight but I’m just gonna keep a eye onit because you know when you’re cookingsugar it is very easy to burn you don’twant that you want this to caramelizereally good with each other and ofcourse my little thing that I’m gonnaadd is some ginger and some cinnamon soI love cooking with ginger and cinnamonI just like the flavor of both of themtogether so you’re gonna see a lot ofthat in my dishes so ginger and cinnamonand please please do not forget your alittle bit of citrus and your pinch ofsalt okay everyone so we’re back as youcan see I’m just gonna pour it out alittle bit so you could see theconsistency of it it’s nice and Nikkiand guys I taste this oh my goodness ifyou do not understand what that gingerand cinnamon would do to your honeytrust me try by Benjamin I know whatflavour is okay hint hint okaybut anyway so what I’m gonna do now isI’m going to take my handheld blenderand I’m gonna put it together I’m gonnaturn the oven off now so hand hellbenderif you want one I’ll put the link in thebottom so that you can order oneyourself and I’m just gonna turn theoven off and I’m gonna blend this just alittle bit not too much because I stillwant the little chunks of strawberriesin the cake so I’m gonna blend it just alittle bit okayall right that’s it just scrape thestrawberries down off the side and I’mgonna let this cool down just for a bitmaybe 5-10 minutes and then after thatwe’re gonna put it in the unleavenedbread that we already made so the breadis all done in the pan and waiting andI’m gonna take the strawberry glaze andwe’re gonna put it in there and we’regonna put it into the oven so right nowthe oven is preheated at 350 while theoven is heating up I’m gonna let thiscool down and then we’ll go from thereokay guys so we’re back and I am goingto now glaze the cakes with thestrawberry so I’m just gonna take aspoonful of strawberry and I’m justgonna dip it little by little all aroundthe cake and then when we’re done I’mgoing to connect all of them togetherjust make a strawberry swirl I guessyeah momma it’s good isn’t it so we’regoing to do that for each panso I have my silver straw and I’m justgoing to connect all of them togetherjust really quick nothing fancy I’llshow you how they come out the oven nowyou’re baking your cake for no more than25 minutes so what I like to do as Isaid in my last video I like to let thecake bake for 20 minutes and then I amgoing to turn the oven off and let theheat of the oven continue baking thecake okay cuz I don’t want it to burn Idon’t want it to be so dry that you knowit’s not enjoyable so we’re gonna dothat and I’ll show you what it lookslike in a bityouyou
