American Style Pancakes with Blueberry Compôte

Here is the pancakes recipe, which I believe serves 2-4 people depending on how hungry you are, if what else you’re having with them. I ate the whole match myself, though.

Ingredients:
135g flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
130ml milk
1 egg
2 tbsp butter (melted)

Instructions:
1. Mix the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar in one bowl.
2. In another bowl, combine the milk, egg, and melted butter.
3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix – use a fork to stir out lumps.
4. Fry the pancakes!

I did not use a particular recipe for the blueberry compôte but it was something like this:

Ingredients:
Blueberries
Water
Sugar
Cinnamon (optional)

Put blueberries in the pan. Add an undefined (but very small!) amount of water… maybe. Add sugar to taste (maybe a couple spoonfuls?). Add cinnamon to taste if you want.

Cook it on medium heat for around 10 minutes or until the blueberries are breaking apart. Stir it occasionally.
