I made no bake cookies from my grandmother’s recipe. It called for two cups of sugar!! They are very sweet, and I will use a cup and a half next time. I also add a bit of a twist on mine. I add sprinkles! If it is Christmas I add red and green sprinkles, if it is Easter I put pastel, valentines, red and pink, fourth of july, red, white and blue. You get it. LOL! Alyssa ditched me for some brother time playing video games. He is so sweet to her, but acts like he isn’t.
Recipe I used on video is:
3 cups of quick oats
1 stick of butter
1/4 cup of cocoa
1/2 cup peanut butter
2 cups of sugar
1 cup of milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/8 tsp salt
melt butter, milk, cocoa on medium heat to boil
boil hard for 1 minute
add sugar, oats, vanilla, salt, and peanut butter
stir and stir until well blended
spoon out on tin foil or wax paper
add sprinkles quickly while they are hot. Sprinkles can be added to mix after it is removed from heat.
let cool, ENJOY!!!
Great with a glass of milk!
