Little chefs make Cozonac (a Romanian traditional sweet bread with walnuts – this is the vegan version)
4 cups flour
2 tbsp yeast
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
2 1/2 cups almond milk
3 cups walnuts
1/2 cup maple syrup
1 cup almond milk
3tbsp cacao powder
In a bowl mix all the ingredients for the dough well with a spoon or with your hands.
Let the dough rise for 1 hour.
Put all the filling ingredients in a food processor and blend until creamy.
Now cut the dough in 6 egual parts and give them a round shape.
Take each dough ball and roll it out.
On the top put 2 tbsp of filling and roll it as you see in the video
Put the roll in a bread pan lined with parchement papper if you don’t want to use oil.
Let the roll rise for 15-20 minutes in the pan.
Brush with almond milk.
Bake at 370 F for 30-40 minutes.
