Waffles Recipes

Let’s Make Belgian Waffles!

I really like to make those as it doesn’t take long and the results are great. I tried many recipes but I think this one is best so far. Waffles are light, crispy and a bit chewy inside. The taste is also amazing thanks to the use of yeast. Have a go and enjoy!

hi guys and welcome to my channel againtoday I’m going to show you how to makethis delicious crispy and very lightBelgian waffles and also going to showyou two types of toppings first basicone and then a more indulgent and richone with whipped cream fruits and meltedchocolate to make the waffles we willneed warm water warm milk melted butterdry yeast sugar baking soda salt add 1egg and 1 cup of all-purpose flourwe start with separating the egg weleave the egg white for the later wewill whip it when everything is justready to be baked and then we need our 1egg yolk we just break it and mix alittle bit we up the melted butter it’snot hot it’s just melted milk let us mixtwo blended sugar yeast and when itcomes to salt and baking soda we need towait we don’t add it straight awaybecause it doesn’t go well with the eastso we wait for the dough to fermentbecause before we can add baking soda orsalt that’s right now we just add theflour you can sift it I really don’t doit we don’t need to do any more rightnow the butter is ready it is quiteliquid it’s fine that’s how it should beand right now we need to leave it torise so for the yeast to start workingand the fermentation to start it needsto be at least one hour in a very warmplaceI mean warm like maximum of 35 degreesyou don’t want more than that becauseyou will just cook everything then ok Iwill see you in one hour time so this ishow our dough looks likeso one hour rising we can just mix itagain it will deflate no worries aboutthat this is ready right now we need toheat up the iron because as soon as wewhip the egg white we want to put thebatter into the hot ironthat’s the best way to do it so I putthe heat to the iron and I use a littlebit of oil to grease it that’s it itdoesn’t need much while it’s heating wecan whip the egg whites I will be addingthe salt and the baking soda to it andwe just need to whip it till it reachesstiff peaksthat’s right now we just need to combinethis two we want to be quite gentle notto deflate the egg whites and the doughis ready it is quite fluffy so we putone whole spoon[Music]you know your own waffle maker so youhave to cut as much about her as youthink will be needed all right and Ialways fold it so the butter doesn’treally go out slice but it goes uptowards the other side the upper side ofthat Island the great thing about thisbutter is that if you don’t use thewhole but at the same day you can easilystore it up to two days in the fridgeand whenever you use it it tastesexactly the same as the first day soit’s really really good you can prepareit that one day in advance and day thenext day in the morning just quicklymake the waffles hold it for 20 secondsand then babyjust release that’s right now for my armin takes 8 minutes for the waffles to beready in the meantime you can preparesome toppings I like my waffles quitetopped so I’m always preparing somefruits some nuts and some meltedchocolate but if you want to just simplewith a little bit of golden syrup orhoney or just with powdered sugar on topit’s completely up to youthey are delicious on their own as wellso I just leave the choice of topping toyou guys I will show you both ways howthey look like how crispy they will beand how light they will be as well eightminutes done that’s what they look likevery nice and golden very carefully Iremove them and put on the cooling rackI don’t take off any of the pieces rightnow I wait until it gets crispy at themoment it iscan you hear it is crispy but it willget a little bit more than that so wejust wait but you need to be prepared toserve them quite quickly because ofcourse with time they will get a littlebit more soft so within the first 10 to20 minutes that’s the best time to servethem my first serving suggestion is justwith a little bit of icing sugar on topor some honeyand I just want to show you guys howcrispy they are how light it almostfeels like nothing and then can you hearthatvery crispy outside and just tiny bitchewy inside its software in the insidebut very crispy outside and very verylight with this beautiful yeasty flavoryou usually associate with brioche veryvery buttery and yeasty it’s absolutelydelicious okay right now let me show youmy preferred mode much more richerserving suggestion with a lot of topicsso I’m starting with some whipped creamnow looking about some fruits and somechopped nuts and in the end some meltedchocolate rich and very flavorsome thisis my version of belgium waffles whichare just so delicious they are crispyoutside they are a little bit softerinside talked with those delicioustoppings fruits nuts chocolate whippedcream whatever else you really want youcan utter as well this is just divineand it is so worth every single coloristso I hope guys you to enjoy waffles andyou will try to make one of thoseyourself just to see the difference andjust enjoy it with whatever topping youlike thank you guys for watching and seeyou next time
