How To Make Pecan Pie Bars! | BAKE FLOW

Pecan Pie Bar

Crust:

1 stick butter
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 cup flour

Filling:

1 cup slightly chopped pecans
1 egg
1/3 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup maple syrup or pancake syrup
pinch of salt

Directions:

Crust:
Melt butter and stir in the sugar and flour until smooth. Put crust dough in an 8×8 baking pan (lined with parchment paper). Bake at 350 for 16 minutes.

Filling:

Mix all filling ingredients together in a bowl. Once crust is done baking, put the filling on top the crust, spread even, and bake for another 16-19 minutes (until center is not too jiggly).

Let cool for an hour, cut and serve!

okay so today we’re gonna make[Laughter][Music]hey guys welcome to bake whoa todaywe’re gonna make some pecan pie bars sowe’re gonna start this off by meltingone stick of butter not completelymelted but almost melted not enough spina while isn’t it a bit of a camera soI’m a little nervousalright so this looks good as you cansee it’s a almost melted but notcompletely take a gander all right we’regonna put 1 cup of all-purpose flour inthere then we do 1/3 cup of brown sugarthat one gonna mix it up so this crustis like a pretty basic crust nothing toocomplicated just three ingredients andwe’re gonna put it into our pan and bakeit before we make the pecan pie topping[Music]I’m a little busy at the moment so thepan we’re gonna use is an 8×8 a a littlebaking pan and as usual we’re gonna putright here some parchment paper downnow we’re gonna throw the crust insidethe pan and what’s a little crumby rightnow but that’s okay we’re gonna push itin like even they’re hard you’re gonnapush it in the pan it’s pretty even butyou don’t have to be perfect okay so asyou can see it’s pretty much pressed inthere doesn’t look like super even butthat’s okay because it’s gonna bake andit’ll come out fine so can you own for350 for 17 ish minutes maybe like 19minutes depending on how it looks butyou don’t want to fully baked it becausewe’re gonna bake it like another timeonce the toppings ready so in the samebowl we’re gonna put 1/3 cup of brownsugaryou know what to watch that fool cuzbasically the same thing and then we’regonna chop up pecan pecan ice but so Iuse it three prostitute to do it but youcan chop it up by hand it just takes alittle longer just do like a few pulsescuz I don’t want it like completelychopped up this is what I kind of go forso mostly chopped but there’s still somechunks in there I take this I put in mybowl along with one egg going in like soand then a third cup you can use thesame cup of maple syrup okay so I can’tfind maple syrup I should have checkedthat before I started this but it’s okaybecause we have Aunt Jemimawell well dude for today but normally Ilike to use like real maple syrupbecause I just prefer that but thisworks equally as good so we’re gonnathird cup in therewe’re gonna mix that up then we’re gonnagrab some saltsI’m gonna do like a teaspoon in thereand then you just gonna do like a pinchof saltbitch mix it in there and once the crustis done baking this will go on top ofthis but we got to wait like 15 moreminutes I think okay the timer just wentoff for the pecan pie bars and we haveit here looks pretty goodlittle golden golden edges still prettysoft we have the topping I’m just goingto give it a quick stir[Music][Music]okay so that’s in there and now let’s goback in the oven for another 16 ishminutes 16 to 19 minutes until like it’spretty solid set my timer for the pecanpie bars oh wait okay it’s a littlegooey so I’m gonna throw it back inthere for another three minutes my firstcup of coffee right now I’m an averagingthree to four cups every day I’maddicted so it’s not been 19 minutesthey look good so they’re gonna chillout cool for like 15 minutes it’s prettysolidcuz early move you can touch it withyour I always do like the touch test youknow but it doesn’t move it also that’swhat he knows ready so now this is coolwe’re gonna cut it eight pieces out ofthis this head a little got cheated alittle bit but that’s okay and nowthey’re ready to be served as you can asyou can see the middle is pretty gooeythe crust is pretty solid and then thistop part is crispy and they’re ready tobe eatenthank you for watching if you want tosee more videos please subscribe to ourChannel and share this video if you wantto share with your friends some tastytreatsyou
