Easy Cherry Pie Recipe | Dessert | Homemade – Here is yet another one folks. If you’re looking for a dessert that has a fruit filling (cherries) then you’ve come to the right place. It doesn’t get any easier than this! Only a few ingredients and you’ll be in the oven in no time! In this video I used Frozen Cherries because they are already pitted. Makes the prep time extremly fast and efficient.

welcome back to my channel smoking anddrilling and today we’re making a cherrypie with meat baby have you guys beenfollowing me you know this is achildhood a second a mystery up at thiscooking you know simplifying theserecipes but this one right here I don’teven know if I could work my magic on ityou’re talking about simple this is theone so listen if you like cherry pie orif you want any other type of fruit andyou like just a fruit filled part thisis a recipe for you not a whole lot ofthe ingredients I feel like I’m overtalking it and with that being said youguys we finna jump right into this videonow for the ingredient list as you cansee it’s not a whole lot of ingredientsyou got a corn starch which is a thirdof a cup you got a salt enough just toget a couple of pinches and there yousaw the sugar that’s white sugar and weuse a third of a cup of that and thisright here is the ready-made pie crustyou know what it comes to in one box butyou’re gonna need two boxes this leadsto the lattice top and that right hereis your dark cherries you know two and ahalf pounds listen I used frozencherries because listen they alreadybeen you know pitted and stealing youknow I mean so it’s just super easy allyou got to do is make sure that thoughtyou know rinse them in the colander andthey’re not really rinsed and theycompletely dry then you want to go aheadand put them in a bowl as you see andthen add all of your dry food and thatright there I’ll save a couple of littlepinches of salt for last and then herelisten you don’t want to beat them uptoo much you know just moving around cuzthey’re gonna be you know nice and softyou know so I just move them around ofcourse you can see a little bit ofcornstarch on there but that’s noproblem just leave them like that andthen just go ahead and set them to theside once you got everything you knowmixed up pretty good and then we’regonna work on our pie crust now afteryou roll out your pie crust you want togo ahead and you know handle it withsome care if you don’t if it’s that whenit’s at room temperature it kind of tearbut that’s no problem just go ahead andset it in your pie pan and then juststart working around and then you canclose them you know as you just work itaround as you see right there you kindof like just mode and almost like whenwe were kids playing with play-dohreally it’s just that easy so afteryou’re done go ahead we’re gonna setthat off to the side and then we’regonna go ahead and get our cherries nowit’s best if you get yourself a spoonthat has some holes in it so you candrain some of the juices and what I’mshowing to you right there as you cansee as it was Sydney and it sat forabout ten minutesit just started you know releasing someof the juices you don’t want to put thatin your Poli feeling because it’ll makeyour pie crust soggy and now right hereat this point right here you drain yourscoop you drain and you feel and thenwhen you’re done there we’re gonna goahead and move on to our next pie crustand what we’re gonna do is startbuilding that lattice top now when yousee this you want to rememberannalee we care because at roomtemperature it will tear easy so what Ido is I start in the very big in themiddle that’s what you want to do startin the middle and you want to cut on onehand strip off the sides is up to youwhat size you want to use I think oneinch it’s like a good size it lookscosmetically you know like nice and ifyou start in the middle got to be thelongest piece so you lay that in themiddle and you use it you start workingyour way towards the edge and thoseshorter pieces that just be you knowlined out perfectly you don’t have a lotof over[Music][Music]now once you’re done then your top onall of the overage that you have youwant to go edit just fold it back as yousee right there and again we’re justgonna work it into the existing trustyou know just like it was played up Ihate to keep using that y’all but that’sthe truth now here it says one egg Iforgot to show you guys that in the verybeginning but that’s this part righthere is really sensitive this is getyourself one egg beat it and you know ina bowl and then take a brush and youwant to go ahead and rest it on your piecrust so that right there is what’sgonna help it brown so you just want tobrush all of the pie crust and cleaningthe lattice part everything and thenwhen you’re done with that it’s time togo ahead and get our oven preheated nowwe got preheat our oven to 350 degreesI’m using my Breville Smart Oven here mebeing on the road i travel with thatthat right there as a must-have formyself it almost like I’m at the houseso once it’s ready you go ahead and putit inside and here’s the little trickright here I suggest that you watch itonce it’s ready 350 degrees for 45minutes I’ll watch it i watch how thetop is browning once I receive and havethe look that I’m looking for as far asthe top being brown I’ll go ahead andjust put a sheet of aluminum foil overthe topping and I’ll let it cook for theremaining time I can’t really give you aexact time when the top will be that waybecause every oven is different thispart right here you just want to goahead and make sure you keep your eye onin after 45 minutes she’s ready go aheadand remove that foil slide it out andthere you go folksyou got a cherry pie right here thatright here listen I made it out of darkcherries you can make it out of thebright red cherries whatever you want todo but that right here last one so tellme what you guys think about thatthey’re super easy huh you know whatit’s almost like you remember this youremember when we used to make strawberryshortcakesyou put the strawberries in there andagain you know in a bowl hit it withthat sugar and let it just turn to thatjust like that and we but this
