Baking Pumpkin Pie with the Kids



This pumpkin pie is a perfect recipe to make with kids and it is a perfect sweet treat for Thanksgiving or the holiday. It’s easy to mix up and have fun while doing it, plus, it tastes delicious and it’s healthy.

INGREDIENTS
– 2 medium-sized pumpkin
– 1/2 tsp salt
– 1 tsp cinnamon
– 2 cups coconut milk
– 4 eggs
– 1 tsp ground nutmeg
– 3 deep pie shells
– 1 tsp ginger

DIRECTIONS:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Make holes in the pumpkin and put in the oven for 1 – 1.5 hours until it softens.
3. De-seed the pumpkins and remove the skin.
4. Over a large bowl, mash the pumpkin flesh.
5. Add cinnamon, ground ginger, ground nutmeg and salt to the pumpkin and whisk.
