How To Make Creamy Spinach Artichoke Pecan Pesto on Pizza – Inspired by Cappello’s. Cappello’s posted a yummy looking Manicotti recipe. We used that recipe as a jumping off point to create a lovely pizza sauce for Cappello’s Naked Pizza Crust – in honor of the amazing pizza you hear about in our July Podcast about Italy. We modified it to make a thick and yummy creamy pesto sauce to put on @Cappello’s Naked Pizza Crust.
Here’s what we threw in the food processor while introducing you to some of our favorite brands. This sauce is completely VEGAN:
1 cup canned (4) artichoke hearts
1 cup #kentorcanyonfarms fresh basil
1/4 cup pecans
3 cloves garlic
2 TBSP lemon juice (juice of two small lemons)
1/4 cup cayenne infused olive oil
4-6 TBSP nutritional yeast flakes
3 TBSP NutPods® (or almond milk)
1 container Kite Hill Almond Milk Ricotta Cheese
1 container Kite Hill Cream Cheese with Chives
1 5-oz container Organic Girl fresh spinach
As far as we know, this is also a recipe compliant with the #plantparadox #pp30 diet. @DrStevenGundry

We blended all that in a food processor until mixed and then spread it on Cappello’s Naked Pizza Crust and topped it with fresh veggies including yellow beets, purple onion, mushroom, black olives and salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper.

hi I’m Alexa and I’m Rory and togetherwe are the rubieswe are not Jennifer Garner’s pretendcooking show we think she’s really greatand so we are having our own pretendcooking showbecause Capello’s came out with thiscute little Instagram recipe we got tomake this we just got it so we’re makingthey did manicotti we’re gonna do avegetarian version of a pizza of thatrecipe I just want to point out incooking shows they don’t show the souschef who has prepped and cut a bunch ofstuff prior to the showall right so as everyone knows one ofthe most important parts of a pizza isthe crust so today we decided to go withgluten-free grain fries all my flourcrusts so this is how you make that alot of time and prep so I can drain itwithout pouring the artichokes out Ijust opened it a little bit you can justlike throw it in and then the foodprocessor make it awesome my cup runnethover 1 cup fresh basil that’s alreadybeen washed fourth cup pecansa quarter cup of these yes because doyou want to add pine nuts by the waythese are not pecans they’re pecans noit’s an English thing what elsetwo cloves garlic you take the flat sideof your knife and you lightly crush yourgarlic and it allows right off we have aholy kitchen so I think our kitchen isprobably a little smaller than JenniferGarner’s just to guessokay next is three tablespoons gratedParmesan we are going to put those ornutritional flights you bought so justthrow them in there spit it says threetablespoons almond milk I’m so hungrythree tablespoons 15 ounces work on ityou can have this so we have York idealalmond milk dairy free ricotta cheeseit’s going to be really hard to cleanthis you’re gonna have a tough time withitthree cups spinach we love organicorganic rules so loud what we’re kindpaper ninja is not so giganticdidn’t take very long you and I love Ineed a refreshing drink of tradeshowssparkling lime mineral water mmm nothat’s goodisn’t that lovely bring it out oven to425 place baking shamefulness on middlerack while oven preheats oops removepizza from plastic and cardboard traytop with your favorite fresh ingredientschewy is a lot of minutes crispy is 15minutes all this from propellers that’snice I put the hot pads in the dirtyclothes is that why I couldn’t find themyesterday yes what I needed themyou do laundry every day some wives do Ithink I’m gonna go get the hot pants sowhat is this like instead of tomatostuff[Music]that’s pretty good you’re welcomewe’re get cuts sorry I just did the bestOhcreamy pesto sauce creamy and veganparadox approved sauce well he lets ushave almond milk so we assume we canhave almond cream cheese by the way I’mnot a vegan I’m the guy with the meatwell like what I cook give me I usuallyhave mewe’re making our vegetarian version inthe only thing that is non vegan aboutthis whole dish is that there are eggsin the pizza crustthat’s good papino in Italy they just pile everythingright in the middle of the peat sidesand in Italy you each get your own pizzawhat this whole share things about didyou hear my stomach growl just thenif you have extra herbs I already washedthem then you only clean up once asopposed to twice because I don’t likecleaning up twice and you can just rollit up in paper towel and it’ll stay fora couple of days so just find a recipeand make another use of your herbs I’mgoing to keep it in the container it wasin but you can also just put it in abaggie[Music]good pizza Kraus yeah finger lickin good
