okay so this is really random but I wasjust on YouTube and all of a sudden outof the corner of my eye I saw the mostbeautiful image I’ve ever seen in myentire life it was pancakes that wereliterally this thick in this fluffy Ijust instantly thought I must squishthat I must squish that I must bite thatI must taste that I must make that likeI just have never in my entire life feltso intrigued by a photo of food andsince I’m this hype about these pancakesI’m like I’m gonna document the processbecause it seems kind of easy there’sonly a few ingredients involved but itdefinitely I think involves sometechnique so I’ll probably mess them upbut I’m hoping that they turn outbecause I have just mmm okay so this isthe original video are you guys dying orare you dying or oh you’re already deadbecause this is nuts all right so here’sthe dealbasically around one was a complete failand I’m not even gonna sit here and makeyou guys watch this because it’s justsad basically I thought I could get awaywith using the healthy that I hadon hand like oat flour and coconut sugarbut turns out you know I should haveknown better you have to use the whitestuff you got to get white flour whitesugar and so mine just turned outhealthy nasty here just just watch metake a bite of it for the first timeI was just really good I mean oh waitsomething is really wrong here it waslike a very strong a pretty some verystrong after days of poison alright herewe gostep 1 eggs all right we’re gonnaseparate the yolks and the whites thewhites are gonna go in the mixing bowlthe yolks are gonna go and also a mixingbowl this one’s for the mixer hey[Music]beautiful beautiful and so the mixturewith the egg whites you can just goahead and set aside my mixers over hereso I’m just gonna put it in the mixernow coming back to the bowl with theyolks in it I’m gonna give it a quicklittle whisk okay now we are going toadd a teaspoon of vanilla Oh makingmesses making messes I was I the onlyone that as a kid I thought vanillaextract smelled so good that I wouldjust take a spoonful of it and then wasshook that was alcoholicthat was scarring okay so vanillaRini you’re gonna have to stop you’regonna annoy everyone maybe see thatanyway alright whisking whiskingwhisking whisking whisking then just atiny splash of milkI have almond milk here that’s fine I’mgonna do a tablespoonwait I should double-check the recipefor not what I thinking chances is timehold on I did this the last time what iswrong with me I’m not gonna poureverything that I poured in because toomuch came out okay and again justwhisking whisking whisking whisking andnow you’re going to sift fourtablespoons of all-purpose flour so I’mjust putting the flour right into thesifter and then just cha cha cha cha ohmy gosh this flour is so much finer thanthe other stuff I use now I’m just ohthis is beautifulthis feels right yeah and also don’tforget the baking powder last time Iactually used baking soda and lemonjuice thinking you know I didn’t Ididn’t have a baking powder on hand so Ijust assumed okay the acidity from thelemon juice will you know neutralize thebaking soda and it will have the samereaction as baking powder right mm-hmmthat may have played a role and I’m notlike getting that fluffing so 1/2teaspoon of baking powder okay now we’regonna go over and whip our egg whitespretty much we’re going to be doing likea meringue so whipping the egg whitesand then slowly pouring in cane sugaruntil it stiffens and like becomes kindof hard soI’m gonna do two almost two tablespoonsnot quite and you want to pour it inslowly we mean where’s your elephanthoney it’s play let’s play maybe maybebe playing bring it back to me baby yeahoh there she is oh thank you baby thiscat never runs out of energy I swearso now you take the fluffy mixture andyou slowly fold it into the egg yolkmixture excuse me ma’amsha sha sha sha you you’re pushing itcha cha cha cha check get downcan you tell this she’s super spoiledyou can you could be bad on the camerapleasegood a little bit at a time just likethat and then just lightly unfortunatelyI don’t have like a spatula so how’s itjust do this with a spoon carefully Ihave to say I’m a little nervous becauseI watched the video back and her mixtureis a lot thicker than mine so I justdon’t think it’s gonna stack in the panbut I’m not doing this a third time soit is what it is all right here we gothere’s some butter in the pan I’m goingto just put a small dollop of batterokay then you’re gonna let that sit forabout a minute before you stock more ontop of itthen you’re gonna spoon just a littlebit of water and then you’re gonna putsomething on top of it to keep it in alittle works but I’m using thisand now Wow look at that fluff cityso again just add a little bit of watergive it a little steam session and itshould be done in a couple of minutes Imean their unique looking oh I don’tknow how they looked so good in thevideo minor just like the shape justdidn’t hold and they’re not I mean it’sthey’re definitely fluffy for sure butthey’re not like you know if there’s notlike air in them they feel quite denselike I just don’t think the bakingpowder like did its job or something Idon’t know I’m confused but you knowwhat it’s fine I’m gonna add in someberries on top yeah okay so I got mystrawberries and then I’m also pouringsome warm honey on top instead of maplesyrup I just think honey tastes bettermmm that looks so kind of like gourmetnow all right moment of truth I mean Ithink I don’t get it cuz I have to helpthe recipe like perfectly what ishappening they’re so thick I meanactually maybe they’re okayhmm hmm I mean it’s really goodtaste-wise it’s really good but it’slike I thought it’s it’s two debts whydid it not fluff upI don’t know I’m confused but definitelybetter than last timedoesn’t taste like poison so we’releveling off anyway I’m gonna eat thisand I’m gonna go so thank you forhanging out with me today slash
